How do you know Merril will be bland? There's also still Aveline to hope for as a LI.

You know, if Justice IS possessing Anders, I wonder how their story will end up if you send Anders with the Templar instead? He wouldn't even be a Grey Warden then, and he wouldn't have had the option to die at the Keep.

Anders being unromanceable would be just cruel. They did it in Awakening (oh, I'm flirting with you, I'm very charming and utterly hot, oh wait, no romances in this game, sorry, Warden), they can't possibly do it again. PLEASE.

I am just glad they are expanding on a character that, IMO definitely needed more screen time and developement. And I would like to note I am still swooning and red-faced from that lovely glow screen shot . Doesn't look so much like Al now does he?

In Awakenings, Anders always seemed like a character who could use a wakeup call - something really awful to happen and show him life can't be so simple.

Interesting. Anders should be stupidly powerful come the end of Awakening. Which is what, year 3 or so of DA2? But for balance they can't have him as his Awakening's self. Wonder what they're going to do with it.



/anticipate tragic event that strips Anders of all his magic.

Well, that could be because it's the Anders fan thread.

Honestly though, there was a 'which companion would you like back' thread a week or two ago and Anders had at least double the nominations of most other companions. I think the only person who came close was Nathaniel.

Anders is probably my fave companion out of any from origins/awakenings and DLC's Nathaniel a close second as he just raped anyone with Critical SHot and Rain of Arrows.

Yay! Anders! Oh man, I hope he brings Ser Pounce Alot! I also hope if u import a save, his personality will be a bit different to start depending on his relationship/approval level with the warden. I'd like to think my warden had a lasting effect... even though he apparently abandoned the wardens after getting gushy about friendship and all that jazz.
