Renegades will you enslave the Geth if you have the option?

I know paragons would not because that would be "morally wrong," so I'm obviosly not asking paragon players.

Anyway, no. Killing an entire race and replacing them with slaves is so far beyond evil that it is no where close to Renegade. That option should never even be presented because of how blatently evil it is. Renegade was suposed to be about getting the job done, making the hard choices. Not killing trillions of sentient beings in order to turn them into slaves to make humans the rulers of the galaxy... What has happened to this game...

Actually, it is not fact that any virus would even work. All testing has been done on small scale groups of Geth, not an entire collective. The Geth have enough computing power between them to beat anything, and their super structure, even partly completed, would be more powerful than the rest of the galaxy's computers combined. Even the Reaper virus is not absolute, and is actually the easiest of them all to beat.

Its evil if you believe the Geth are living beings
not if you believe they are rogue AI machines.

Very true. Like I said this is for a renegade playthrough the reason I made that clear is because I and everybody else already knows what a paragon would say in the situation.
I also think people are forgetting we already brainwashed the Geth once by giving the Heretic Geth a virus that will make them no longer be hertetics. We've already done this before to suit our needs.

They were a hostile threat. They declared war on the galaxy and the galaxy responded by removing them. The Geth did no such thing. They have remained isolationist for 300 years and have zero intent on interacting with organics at all unless absolutely required for survival.James2912 wrote...

I guess if you are really narrow minded then it becomes acceptable. "They are not like us so it is perfectly ok to kill them all and turn them into slaves."
I kept the Collector base. I sacrificed civilians to stop a terrorist, i even kept project overlord running. But as a defensive measure only. (Also to further study the interaction between a computer and human brain.)

My Renegade shep will do anything to save the galaxy and humanity if that means sacrificing the sentience of the Geth, then so be it.
The Geth are tools I would "enslave them" even if the Reapers didn't exist

Geth should be Humanities slave army. Quarians get their homeworld back and will owe us big time. Giving the Quarians the Geth means they could screw it up again. Plus the Quarians are aliens, giving them a vast army would be out of character for my pro cerberus shep!
The Geth are the supersoldiers TIM always wanted.
If TIM and Shpard help the Quarians regain their homeworld I want a statue on the Quarian captial that's like 500 feet tall brofisting TIM

This isn't evil. Having the Geth work for the humans can be especially vital for the fight against the Reapers.

The Geth will be excellent shock troopers to counter Reaper Shock troopers
