What do you think about crew pairings not involving Shepard?

but personality wise.... Miranda is coldly ruthless, she has soft spots for sure, but they are few and far and between and even then, they are pretty well hidden and reserved for like one person really - her genetic twin. Even after she gets together with Shep, she's still pretty cold. She's incredibly pragmatic (her outfit non withstanding) and Kaidan is an idealist. even after all he's been through, he's still idealist. Miranda uses sex as a tool, she might put off Shepard until the moment of her choosing, but I feel like it has more to do with power plays then actual reticence. Kaidan doesn't take sex lightly. Miranda will work with the devil if said Devil make her goals possible. Kaidan cannot even consider working for Cerberus, even against Reaper threat. alliance sodier through and through.
their core values are incredibly different, the only thing they have in common is an analytical mind and ability to lead, I'm really not sure its good basis for relationship. I cannot even see them as friends to be honest :/
I'd love to see people show me what I'm not seeing there, since more then one person paired them up.

Other pairings? I don't really want squadmate pairings. NPC pairings like Tali/Reeger, Liara/Feron, Wrex/Aria would be really cool though.

I would also really like a Kasumi/Jacob relationship, that would be really sweet <3

There's a large amount of people of equivalent age all stuck together on this spaceship all the time, it's not ridiculous to think that the only one with a chance of any form of action is Shepard. I thought it might give some more depth to the characters if there were some romance pairings that cropped up between the other crew-mates (I think it's hinted Jacob and Miranda had something, but I was also thinking something less obvious.) I don't want to see some kind of soap opera in Space, but it would be natural to see at least one other relationship crop up. Are there any pairings you think are especially likely or interesting? They could release foreshadowing as a DLC. It's not likely that this will happen, but I find the idea of Garrus developing an interest in Liara or Tali intruiging...
ahh, like the minsc/aerie romance in BG2.
That would be cool.
I want to see in ME3 a mordin and Grunt bromance (not a typo) (and given they both survive)
I wonder if Morinth would kill off any squaddies...
Joker + EDI romance
Gabby + Kenneth romance (unless they were siblings - i can't remember)
Kasumi + Jacob (I can't remember if it is him she admired the looks of, or someone else)

Gabby + Kenneth (cutest couple ever)
Zaeed + Chakwas
Any more ship and we'd have to rename the Normandy. It will become The Love Boat

Jack, Thane and Garrus are probably the ones she would be most intersted in.Biotic_Warlock wrote...

Maybe Joker, he's such an easy target for her

I think she might go for the young sweet and innocent type. Maybe Kelly? Nef kind of had the same personality.

Liara/Feron
As for normal:
Kasumi/Jacob
Tali/Kal'Reegar
Gabby/Kenneth
Thane/ Samara
My unique ships:
Garrus/Ashely- Yeah I just like this for some reason
Kaiden/Jack- Hey he said he likes adventurouse women
Garrus/Miranda- They seem like they could teach each other to be more open but I think renegade Garrus is more lickly to choose her.
Deadly ships:
Jack/ Joker-Joker will die in this one but i still kind of like it.

sorry, still not seeing Miranda/Kaidan I think Miranda is L3 or even l4, but l2 is possible. still I think she'd be modified for a better model as soon as her "father" could manage.

I'm a huge Miranda/Kaidan fan, I’ll give it a whack. A lot of it has to do with respective perceptions, so you mileage may vary…
In a nutshell, they complement each other; they are like yin and yang, opposite halves of the same whole.
Calling Miranda cold, while accurate, I feel is only half the truth. I like to compare Miranda to a frozen lake in winter, while her surface is hard and cold, there is real depth beneath. Kaidan has the perfect combination of patience, compassion, and moral character to break through Miranda’s cold exterior.
Kaidan’s moral character / moral code is something else Miranda would (eventually) find incredibly attractive; indeed I can see it being the foundation of a long-term relationship. All her life Miranda has been someone’s tool; her father, TIM, everyone has sought to use her. Kaidan doesn’t look at people that way, he sees people as intrinsically valuable, that’s something Miranda only gets from Shepard, and something she could also get from Kaidan.
And I don’t see their respective core values as being that different either. Miranda isn’t malicious, she genuinely believes in Cerberus’ mission as advertised: ie defending humans and advancing human interests. Kaidan shares similar values, else he would not be have joined the Alliance Marines. They might have very different ideas on how to go about things, but I think their goals are largely the same. Miranda might be more willing to make ‘hard choices’ but clearly, based on the events of ME1, Kaidan isn’t unwilling to make those same choices.
Miranda is certainly more aggressive sexually and approaches sex significantly more casually than Kaidan does, but at the same time she is rather guarded emotionally, this is something she and Kaidan have in common. It’s kinda ironic really, sexually Kaidan has his own ‘layers’ for Miranda to break through (much as FEMShep does in ME1).
Yin and Yang, baby! It’s really a beautiful thing, two people who compliment and support each other, a true partnership of equals.

I see what you mean. I don't agree with some of that. the oposites atract premise doesn't work long term majority of the time, unless both parties are willing to find a middle ground. Kaidan and Miranada might be willing to find it for some things but I see them both as unyelding when it comes to others - "end justifies the means" mostly. for Kaidan, means are just as important as the end and he'd be willing to not pursue the end if the means are too questionable, Miranda however, has no such limitations. Breaking through each others bariers is tough when both people would rather maintain them - it could easily become too much of a stalemate.
I guess it would depend on circumstances, but I'm seeing it as highly unlikely to work out (up from completely impossible though
I'm worming up to idea of Tali and Garrus (even if I prefer her with Kal'Reegar) - they can reenact their very own "Fleet and Flotilla"

Other than Kasumi lusting after Jacob, I didn't get much of a hanky-panky vibe from the rest of the team. I think several of the squad might do another member, but nothing outside of a roll in the hay between missions.

Kaidan/Miranda? I definitely don't see that one. He would hate her because he hates Cerberus, and I really don't see why she'd like him either. (not saying that someone else couldn't be attracted to him, such as, you know, FemShep, but he doesn't seem like her type. She doesn't seem like she'd go for the nice boys.)
