As the title says, what was the creepiest mission you went on in ME2?

There are a few for me:

Freedom's Progress (Yes, I'm a wuss. Shut up.) up until the first  fight with the mechs is totally creepy. The music, the atmosphere, the total lack of life

Jarrahe Station. Blood and bodies strewn everywhere and some creepster VI telling me to get out and/or to kill myself.

Collector Ship: Oh look. A pile of human sludge and body parts... tasty.

The SM and the Collector's ship mission scared me.

Joker's mission scared me too. I had to have my brother in the room with me.

Not necessarily the mission, but watching the person at the Collector Base get liquefied sent a chill down my spine the first time I saw it.

The Collector Ship is creepy, the bodies strewn everywhere, the creepy husk noises, the dripping ceiling (I mean what the heck is that dripping from the ceiling, bet it isn't water), even the look of the ship creeps me out.

The mine shaft on Aequitas is creepy too with all the respawning husks that fall out of the ceiling.

The Derelict Reaper kinda creeps me out too.

Just about anywhere there are husks. *shiver*

Overlord DLC by far. First there's this, which makes me feel like my seat cushion is a hedgehog.

www.youtube.com/watch

Then there's the inanimate Geth Prime at the beginning of Hermes Station. Totally creepy, because it looks like a crucifix - as if the *robot* is struggling, suffering. David's random screams are scary at first, but quickly becomes simply startling and annoyingly loud.

Collector Ship is a distant second.

The Thorian on Feros didn't scare me at all. It grossed me out a little, but I was mostly delighted/excited like Grunt facing the Thresher Maw: "Hell yeah! We're gonna kill something BIG today!"

ME1: That one sidequest were you go onto a SUPPOSEDLY empty ship, but suddenly crap starts exploding around you and there's this crazy woman running around obsessing over her comatose boyfriend... Yeah. I jump every time.

ME2: Reaper IFF. Scions, scions everywhere.

The Thorian Creepers creeped me out when I saw 'em on Feros. "That's the colonists?!" No, no they were not. Some random zombies out of nowhere to shoot. Kewl. Music kept me on edge though.

ME2 had to be seeing random colonist no.2 getting slushified. Blatant in-your-face horror, but still disturbing.

In ME1, it was definitely Noveria. Holy hell the rachni freak me out... I dropped my controller the first time one of them crawled out from nowhere.

In ME2, it's when you play as Joker. I was quite scared.

Going to have to agree with this. Also there's one mission in ME1 where you find a ship full of husks at the border of Geth space, that was kind of creepy. In general ME1 was a lot more creepy of a game, both with the likes of the Thorian, Rachni, Prothean ruins, etc. Also most ME1 UNC missions were kind of creepy to some degree.

ME2 not so much. The Collectors aren't real creepy since they seem like your typical bug-men  aliens. Honestly the Collectors like look something from a 40s-50s Sci-Fi movie. None of the side missions are really creepy other then thr rogue VI. The only truly creepy mission is the Derelict Reaper. Just the fact that you're walking around in a dead Reapershould be un-nerving. It certainly looks creepy and the fact that the ship is still partially alive indoctrinating people is worrisome. I really have to wonder if that incident may have consequnces on Shepard later on. I mean Shepard wasn't there very long, but I bet it did have some subtle influence. Of course I'm just pining for ME3 to have Flashback sequences with the Reapers mind-fraking you. Also be nice if there was a Flashback sequences based on Shepard's birthplace and reputation. You know so that they actually mean something in ME3. Be cool to actually see what Akuze or the Blitz was like.

Anyways but the Husks, Scions, and Legion all made the Derelict Reaper the creepiest mission. Also probably the best main story mission in the game.

i have a phobia of AIs and robots ever since watching superman 4 (i think) where the machines take that woman inside and slap her face with microchips. so hearing that voice come over the radio thing like "RAWRAWRAWR MAKE IT STOP" i almost cried and had to turn the sound down and only played it while my mate was in the room

im 26...

i always save that mission to the end :(

Agreed.  Overlord scared me to death.  I would jump everytime evil green face popped up on my screen and shouted at me.  So, so, so, creepy, but fun.  Not to mention that creepy machine at the end and the first time I did it, I was too slow and EDI went all evil.  Yea, I side eyeing her after that.

The rachni missions in Mass Effect 1 creeped me out, and my husband hates the Thorian creepers...hehehe.  I don't mind green jelly goo brains, but I don't really like bugs. *shudders*

Jacob's Mission. The entire thing was like falling into a mud puddle and slowly sinking into the depths of Leechtopia.

?How? Did Tricia Helfer put on her Kerrigan voice? I should deliberately play slow just to see what happens!

Edit: I actually found it here:
www.youtube.com/watch

I interpret that as David murdering (erasing) EDI and taking over. EDI is good, cute AI. ^_^

Haha, yeah first time I played that mission in ME1 it made me jump when she appeared, after that not so much as was expecting it.

Reaper IFF, still find it creepy and I think it's partially the fact of... "That's an alledged 'dead' reaper, what the frell is it going to be like in ME3 if we have to go through a 'live' one?!?!" and that just makes me shiver when I think of that considering the kind of mind frak we know Bioware could easily do considering how damn creepy Overlord was as well. First time I played Reaper IFF, I didn't have Cain and I think I was stupidly only carrying the poultry nade launcher at the time so I was in that room with Zaeed and Miranda and the damn husks were constantly spawning so constant combination of trying to deal with them and the reaper core. Ever since that playthrough I ALWAYS cain it, always ensuring I have enough ammo to do so before I initiate that mission. Husks creep me out.

Oh and another ME1 mission that creeped me out was that sidequest involving the Rachni on that planet where there is a group of marines with some turrets and have to clear the Rachni infestation up. The way they pop out of the ground in the caves made me jump first time and still creeps me out whenever I play it. Kinda reminds me of the scene in Aliens when as Hudson puts it "They're coming outta the goddamn walls!" when the Marines get initially ambushed.

I haven't played overlord yet, so at this point - derelict reaper. it took the creepiness of collector ship and multiplied it. between super creepy journal recordings and husks climbing from under the floor and the music and the moaning sounds the husk make, ugg.
