ME1: That one sidequest were you go onto a SUPPOSEDLY empty ship, but suddenly crap starts exploding around you and there's this crazy woman running around obsessing over her comatose boyfriend... Yeah. I jump every time.
ME2: Reaper IFF. Scions, scions everywhere.
Haha, yeah first time I played that mission in ME1 it made me jump when she appeared, after that not so much as was expecting it.
Reaper IFF, still find it creepy and I think it's partially the fact of...
"That's an alledged 'dead' reaper, what the frell is it going to be like in ME3 if we have to go through a 'live' one?!?!" and that just makes me shiver when I think of that considering the kind of mind frak we know Bioware could easily do considering how damn creepy Overlord was as well. First time I played Reaper IFF, I didn't have Cain and I think I was stupidly only carrying the poultry nade launcher at the time so I was in that room with Zaeed and Miranda and the damn husks were constantly spawning so constant combination of trying to deal with them and the reaper core. Ever since that playthrough I ALWAYS cain it, always ensuring I have enough ammo to do so before I initiate that mission. Husks creep me out.
Oh and another ME1 mission that creeped me out was that sidequest involving the Rachni on that planet where there is a group of marines with some turrets and have to clear the Rachni infestation up. The way they pop out of the ground in the caves made me jump first time and still creeps me out whenever I play it. Kinda reminds me of the scene in Aliens when as Hudson puts it
"They're coming outta the goddamn walls!" when the Marines get initially ambushed.
