Overlord. Taking Legion onto the downed gethship/lab and running around both labs eerie music, David screaming that damn elevator....

Beyond that the husk cave where you get the memo to get out.

Jacobs loyalty mission was messed up not creepy in a horror scary type of way yet they ran away screaming when it came to how the girls and those outcast were treated I would've liked more into that as far as maybe old data pads or recordings with a girl or two saying I can't keep living as so and so's slave I'm going to kill him tonight, ect. and I would've liked to go to or get captured by the outcast to see how far they've gone.

And very little on the overall decay I mean the doctor girl is a good example we find her auto log on the ship talking about how she can't remember a family members name but there in camp she's not nearly as distraught as she was on the tape and only can't read.

I would've liked to her her on a day 3 we're still hoping for rescue type of entry, day 30 foods running low and a radical plan has been set up by our new Captain who I still feel is not good for us, day 100 talking about how twisted her mind is getting, ect. Then move to the screaming can't remember names. A progression type of thing. The mental decay we saw in Siren by most of the cast moved it from messed up to messed up and damn creepy.

Noveria - The first time I played it, I was creeped out. I didn't jump or anything, but the atmosphere was just creepy, and seeing all the people there freaked out added on to it too. Doesn't creep me out anymore, but still one of my favorite missions in any mass effect game. Noveria was very well done.

Project Overlord - That was scary. The screaming A.I. at random points made me jump. And the ending was just...wow.

Freedoms Progress - A creepy atmosphere also. First real mission of the game, and the weird music, atmosphere, all of that stuff was just odd.

Creepy? ME? Seriously? Nothing in ME is even remotely close to being creepy. Well, Overlord was a nice try but I always felt like "Oh, and I will be ambushed soon".

While Overlord was a nice bit of sci-horror the thing that just turned my stomach (and is exactly the same in Jacob and Jack's loyalty missions) is just thinking about the inhumanity of humans against other humans - and especially children - and then their attempts at trying to justify it. Makes my skin crawl every time.

One of the N7 missions in the mines with the infinite husk spawns. CREEPIEST SOUND DESIGN I'VE HEARD IN THE GAME..

Overlord comes close, but it came off to me as a ride through a haunted house that screams at you in a theme park.

The mine shaft on Aequitas is creepy too with all the respawning husks that fall out of the ceiling.

The reaper wreck got me a little nervous when you see the recordings and the bodies.

I haven't gotten around to Overlord yet, so to me, I think it'd be the Collector ship. It's not so much that the mission itself was creepy, but from the very beginning it was obvious that it's a VERY bad idea to go in there. If I'd truly been in control of Shepard, we would've gotten the hell out of there without even boarding it. As it was, we walked through those empty halls and corridors, expecting the trap to spring at every turn.<_<  It wasn't scary, but definitely creepy.

In ME2 it's a toss up between Overlord and the Derelict Reaper. The videos on the Derelict Reaper were extremely creepy, especially the argument between the two confused Cerberus lackeys who were beginning to be indoctrinated, and as a side effect one of them was 'remembering' memories that actually belonged to the other man. There are few things more horrifying than losing your own identity. Overlord of course needs no explanation.

Do the sex scenes count as missions?

The sex scene one of my femsheps had with Garrus was knd of creepy.

He's a cool character but he (nor any turian) aren't exactly lookers but at least you're given the option to see past that.

Besides, some femsheps find scars sexy!

ME1: Ilos and Feros, both planets are really strange and they are both ruins. Feros has crumbling buildings and a crazy plant. Ilos has overgrown ruins, a red atmosphere that appeared there without any explanation and it's also full of secrets.

ME2: The Collector Ship, who knows what kind of crap they did to all those dead people on board. Plus who knows what kind of sick crap did the Reapers do to re-purpose the Protheans. The derelict Reaper and any mission with husks is creepy as well. Imagining what exactly they did to those people to turn them into husks is unsettling.

For me it'd have to be the planet, can't remember where it is, that has a dig site where the people there discovered some Reaper technology and where all turned into Husks and when you get right near the Indoctrination device you get swarmed by Husks.

ME1 - FEROS, listening posts, abandoned exogeni research base (machine cultists), and the final Sovereign battle.... the way that thing scurried was unsettling.

ME2 - Abandoned Mine, Derelict Reaper (near the altar area)... actually I thought all of the collector missions were creepy... the first time I played Overlord was nuts--especially when I went all glowing eyes and abandoned my squad.

But, by far the creepiest was: Joker limping through an invaded Normandy.

EDIT: Yeah, I forgot about the Strange VI missions in ME2.  I really liked those.
Also, I forgot about the angry biotic girlfriend.  The first time, I kinda expected her to be there but I didn't anticipate her just running into the room.  I kinda figured she'd want to talk with us.  She did NOT want to talk.

Also, activating the neutron purge on Noveria was intense.  (I reminisced about this when escaping those last few meters off the collector ship.)

This is pretty much my thoughts. Husks are the scariest things in the game, Geth are just robots and you've dealt with both enough times. I played Overlord at like 4 in the morning and was hardly phased. I am terrified of horror/suspense movies and the like and don't watch them, but I don't know I just don't get scared playing Mass Effect. It's fun getting in fights.

ME1: Getting swarmed by thorian creepers I guess, but then anything invading personal space abruptly will get a violent reaction

ME2: Nice touch in Overlord with the holographic locks on the doors. Switching them, moving one to a preferred location. Unnerving when you know you're being forced to follow someone else's direction.

In Mass Effect:

UNC: Derelict Frieghter and UNC: Lost Frieghter

In Mass Effect 2:

Derelict Reaper, Overlord, and the Collector Base (mostly the liquefying of Kelly and the Reaper-human)

I agree. I have a personal vendetta against those damn cameras that follow your every movement. I go out of my way to shoot them. That and David's 16 bit screams that make you jump every time you walk by a damn computer screen.

Try listening to David scream at you at 2 am.... with surround sound turtle beaches (at loud volume) to enhance your game performance.
