uh......we have known for MONTHS dual wield warrior is gone....

warriors are now sword and boarders and 2 handers

rogues are archers and dual wielders

I can understand people saying that Dragon Age 2's visuals --most notably the faces-- aren't the best in comparison to some of the other current games out there, Mass Effect, for instance, but I don't think the same applies in comparisons to the graphics of DAO, at least not to the extent people often make it out to be.

Cinematics or the common Dialogue scenes? The cinematics animate pretty smoothly to me.

There's not one Bioware game where normal dialogue isn't "stand-in-place" stiff for the most part.

And I most wholeheartedly agree. Legend Of Zelda is one of my all time favorite games, and it most certainly does not look that graphically impressive. But it's fun. It's very fun.

The way I see it, the improvement of graphics seems to be hitting a plateau, where it's simply not commercially viable to allocate even more resources and development time to improve them to where they are truly on the cutting edge of technology.

In my mind, this is good. Because graphics today are something interesting; they're good enough.

Just make the game fun.

I loved the cinematic from 0:24 to 0:28 (Youtube version). Mage Hawke just walks casually killing Darkspawn with as little movement as possible. I assume the warrior Hawke and Rogue Hawke versions of this will be just as cool.

Carver looks really weird, and Varric's face is a little too... blocky? I dunno, they both look weird to me. The combat and everything else looks great though, except the UI, and the bloodstains on the armor and faces. They've somehow made it even more ridiculous.

Does Varric release gold as he walks or something? Do dead enemies just drop piles of coins into neat stacks?
