If you all have Dragon Age 2 in facebook, you should be seeing the achievement list now. There's one called "Seizing Glory" where the description is "Seize the throne".

You are jumping to conclusions.

But do I think you are wrong? Probably not.

Is it just me, or had this already been confirmed several months ago? I thought it had been stated that becoming the Champion of Kirkwall made you the King of Kirkwall. Not to mention that the previous king is killed in the trailer when Hawke arrives during the Qunari invasion. I assumed this left Hawke as the successor since he will likely turn the tide and save Kirkwall.

I think it would be great to have the part of the game where you are a ruler PLAYABLE.

I wanted to actually be Queen in Dragon Age: Origins, but it ended right there.

I'm thinking Fable 3. That was fun.

I know BioWare could do a way better job.

My favorite kind of stories are political, so getting the throne early could be epic.

For some reason when I read that, I thought it was talking about Lelianna and I was totally happy to make her queen

Though as Seb is optional DLC, that achievement probably has nothing to do with him. Having said that, he'll probably have his own specific DLC achievements

I really doubt you can be "king/queen" because that's not the correct title of the ruler of Kirkwall. It's conceivable that the Champion takes over. But that's not quite the same thing as becoming a dynasty.

Now that would be interesting . Half the game would probably be you trying to survive assassination attempts. Hmmmm.... this has many possiblities.
