It seems complicated to make high end runes, as in, you have to make lower end runes to make a medium end runes, to make higher end runes, etc. etc.

I want to make some Evasion Runes.

To create 1 Evasion Rune, following materials are needed:

• Blank Runestone x15
• Etching Agent x10
• Master Tempest Rune x1
• Master Lightning Rune x1

Now, in order just to make the Master Tempest Rune I need.....

• Expert Tempest Rune x2
• Blank Runestone x1
• Etching Agent x3

But in order to make each Expert Tempest....

• Journeyman Tempest Rune x2
• Blank Runestone x1

And no, it doesn't stop there. Is it less complicated than it seems? Please tell me it is.

yes its exactly like this. You start with novice runes and enough agent and blank stones, and you just keep clicking. Incredibly tedious, especially if its not your PC with the rune-mastery.

That looks about right to me... note that you don't need to be a runesmith to equip them but just to make them i.e. have one of your party (that you don't like) make them for you.

I like Paragon stout runes (+14 Con) myself.

Also, what is meant by "Yuriah (+3 upgrades)" upgrades?

As I understand it;
Yuriah sells items and will sell any equipment that you can already bye i.e. once you find a shop that sells a special item then he will also sell that item.

Upgrades are keep upgrade like improving the walls.

A lot of the higher level rune tracings cannot be bought, only found during quests.
