The gameplay looked good and I really really liked the design of lowtown, how it appears to be carved from a visually unique type of rock.
On the other hand I'm not thrilled about the dog magically appearing and disappearing in a puff of smoke, feels very cheap.
What, you got a problem with magic ninja dogs. They have feelings too you know.
Eagerly waiting for the mod that adds a pokeball throwing animation to the dog's summoning.
That would be quite awesome actually.

How does the difficulty compare to Origins, in general?
Will the DLC items be present at the start of the game, or acquired?
What is the melee animation like for longbows?

Same here. Isabela's VA kinda eclipsed FemHawke's in the few scenes we saw.dreamextractor wrote...
I did enjoy hearing Lady Hawke's voice though, but I kind of have to admit that I prefer Male Hawke's more
So, why hasn't anyone identified the VA yet? Isn't it a matter of minutes for you guys?

The tone of Hawke's voice seems remarkably similar to that of Leilana's actress. If you don't believe me, listen to Leliana, then Hawke from the livestream, then Leilana again.
If you can work past the accent, I think they sound rather similar - but I can't quite place what exactly is similar about them.
That said, this actually doesn't make me the happiest camper, since my personal award for "sexiest Anglo-Saxon accent" goes to Claudia Black's Chloe Frazer - was honestly hoping for something a little more throaty or gravelly.

So has anyone identified who is the voice artist for lady Hawke???
Some people think it's Anora's voice actress, but we know the voice actress of Lady Hawke did voice work for ME2. Mika Simmons did not.
Besides that, didn't they say they changed Isabela's voice because they didn't want a major character the voice of another major character from the previous game? You think that the main character would be more alarming.
I think people were hearing "noble-ish English voice" and associated it with Anora.

Could someone explain the cross-class combo system? My internet crashed at that particular moment.
Team mate A and team mate B will work together to produce special effect C:
For example, One of your warriors can stagger an opponent, and a staggered opponent then takes 7x damage from certain specified spells that your mage casts.
It's like the Shattering combo in DA:O, but it seems much more dynamic, the way they described it.

It's not Leliana. Lady Hawke has an authentic accent--Corinne Kempa is French. And, like I said just before, they said they didn't want major characters sharing voices with past major characters. Also, Corinne Kempa did not do work for ME2.

Epicness all around! Woot! Lady Hawke is Hawt, sexy, feminine and she sounds cool. The combat and the music get the blood pumping, placing you right into the action... as if you were there. AWESOME! Dragon Age II you are looking more than awesome.
Thanks Lead Designer for letting us hear Ms. Hawke and doing the playthrough with her.
This.
