Yeah, that's the constant battle cry of the PC set. "Of course it doesn't have any of those! Why make the minority suffer if you can make the majority suffer?" Meanwhile, we Mac users just sit back and grin.

Well, you grin and post trollish flamebait on PC game forums. But whatever floats your boat.

Sit back and grin because you can't do anything else except make spreadsheets.

No, Napoleon, we don't. I started this thread for EA - hoping they would take a little notice and put a little more effort to include EVERYONE, not just some or a majority. It looks like an awesome game.

You're too busy not playing games because they lack Mac compatibility. No wonder you have all this time to sit back and grin.

Don't worry OP I'd be upset too if I got suckered by some spotty TV ad. with Justin Schlong and purchased a more expensive and inferior machine because of the shiny white paint. Jus' Sayin'

They included everyone that mattered.

You can go pretend to be trendy and elite in your little artsy coffee shop showing off your iMac insisting you're better. I'll pet Barkspawn and chuckle at you with the netbook that puts you behind.

Now who is being elitist, Kelston? Sounds like Mac envy to me. Y'all have no idea what you're talking about but that's ok. Have fun. :-)

Ohh awesome! A Mac bashing thread. I'm so down!

Then again, I'll just go play Dragon Age or be useful with my PC rather than sitting there admiring the fact that I think I'm elitist when infact...you'r just Unix for Dummies (for the most part)

Mac envy? I wouldn't envy a Mac. I like being able to play games.

Why would I envy a Mac?

HP Envy outclasses the iMac and my PC can play Dragon Age. And if you knew what you were talking about, you'd know that the Mac architecture switch to Intel based processors puts you at just as much risk for malware as PCs.

But you still make up for less than 8% so no one cares.

At least you'll have one thing i'll never have. A thousand dollar plastic white apple. Take comfort in that.

LOL it's true. I've had my Mac for 2 years. Not one single issue with that sort of thing and no nasty VISTA to worry about. No constant additional software to buy to keep it running "correctly." No myth - just plain fact.

I havent had any problems with vista and macs have problems too if you dont belive that you are blind.

Doesn't PCs (as in Personal Computer) includes Apple "mac", Sony, Dell etc etc..?

OSX/Linux or Windows OS thats the question. The answer is Windows OS is utter copy/paste/steal/ kinda of marketing crap but supports most game platforms cause 90% of these game companies are the same: they produce CRAP.

One word for OSX/Linux OS : innovation.

Its too bad Bioware is on Microsoft and EA's money leash...

With the recent popularity of Mac Computers it is kinda silly not to make it compatible, i mean they did put the game on the 360 and the PS3. So why not the mac?

Because im pretty sure the number of people who has a 360 and a ps3 far outweight the number of peep with a mac.
Still its just silly to not make a compatible version for mac.

/hands out the toffee popcorn and watches the ensuing chaos

still though not to feed the flaming or the trolling but how many games do pc users get each year compared to mac users? (not including the ones you have to run through bootcamp to play properly)

mac's are not typically built for gaming and if you take care of your pc then it needs minimal maintenance and repairs.

I'd assume if they would profit off of a Mac version, they would have made one? Maybe it has to do with cost of making it compared to how much they would actually sell? However, I would guess a company would do things in the interest of making money and if a Mac vesion would make more money, then they would have made it? I dunno lol.:)

Well, they'd only bother to make a Mac version if they felt there's profit in it for them to do so. I'm sure they did their market research and all. So far there's only a handful of developers that have decided to bother with Mac versions of their games. It was probably the switch to Intel processors that influenced those developers to make the effort. Others are probably holding back a bit to see if these developers are making money before making the leap to Mac themselves.
