I'd find out why. If the reason was somewhat just, they live and/or are imprisoned. If not and/or they can't be apprehended, they are eliminated.

I think the dumbest betrayal if inacted would be Garrus if you were para at least you did everything you could to get him off his Saren road if he comes up the betrayer in ME3 it better not be because he thought Shep wasn't doing enough to stop the reapers or help him out.

Handheld himself is a good boy, handheld would quickly curbstomp any thoughts of betrayel before they were thought up. Handheld himself would then bake cookies for all

Did people die because of it? Yes: Execute them. There simply is nothing they could say to justify their actions. No: brig or talking depending on severity.

The council betrayed me after I saved their asses. I pretty much want to kill them.

Kill the bastard, even if it's the LI. The survival of the galaxy is too important for emotions or some ****** screwing with me. Take out my phalanx and drop that ****!

Should have killed them in ME1. I did, and don't have to worry about that problem anymore. Politics are useless when the galaxy is headed into a galactic genocide.

I have a sneaky suspicion that if I was betrayed (and to be honest I WANT there to be potential for betrayal with so many divided loyalties in this game) I may wind up screaming at my monitor and cursing Bioware for giving me a limited choice of options on how to hand the situation.

Garrus would probably betray you if the Reapers offered him the endless calibration opportunities of a race of immortal space dreadnoughts.

And that works out soooooo well on the citadel, no one likes the humans and the Turians are scaling up their force in response to you killing the council cause they were mean to you.

depends on what sort of betrayal and what reasons they had. for example - Nicket betrayed Miranda, but he had good reasons, so I usually stop her from shooting him. if the reason is good, if they didn't end up killing a bunch of bystanders, other crew members, etc while they were betraying me, we'll talk. they would be off my squad and most likely locked up somewhere until my mission was done and they couldn't jeopardize it anymore, but I wouldn't kill them outright.

however, if the reasons are not good (selfish, working for the enemy, etc) they will join Wilson in their fate.

Let's see....

Saved rachni Queen
Rewritted Heretic Geth
Acquired Genophage cure
Kept Collector Base

I think I don't need the council races.

True enough and well played, but since I saved them on my main shep i'm looking forward to letting them burn in ME3 because they did betray me in ME2, I mean that air quote about reapers put me over the edge and made my pragmatic paragon  shepard into a renegade and my shep is very very vindictive now.

But as for reacting to to betrayal I guess leaving them to face off aganist a horde of husk with an empty gun would work. That or just shoot them and toss their body in the swamp (which I never did to wrex). Or two gun shots to the head would work too. But I think the most fitting fate would be to leave them to the mercy of cerberus' kitten army of death.Posted Image
