Sorry if there has been such a post before, but If there is I couldn't find it.
The problem - I bought a DAO cd (for xbox360) in Germany a while back. Completed the campaign and everything. In Autumn my parents suddenly brought home from Sweden a DAO Awakening cd. I didn't realy have time to play back then, so I didn't notice this before. But now when I replayed the DAO campaign and started trying to play Awakening I couldn't. There was no way to access it. Then I checked the downloadable add-ons and there was awakening, but if I wanted it I had to purchase it. Now that doesn't make very much sense to me. Am I just too dumb to get to Awakening or is something wrong?
Help please.

It must be a regional thing. Perhaps if you want to play Awakening, you'll have to re-install it using a disk from Germany if your Origins version is German? Perhaps someone with more experience with this issue can respond.

I'm from Latvia anyway
And I know for fact that I can play games from Sweden and Germany. And yeah, the Origins version is in German, but when I insert the DAO Awakening cd, all the game is in english. And Since I've got this issue on my 360, I can't really re-install anything.

Best to bring this up in Technical Issues. I recommend the XBox 360 section.

Probably due to Origins being from Germany. They often change some things in the games so they fit in under their ratings. So yeah, most likely it is a regional thing.
Well sure I can play games from Sweden and Germany too, but it's different when one is installing over the other. The Swedish version is basically a UK version while the German one is well...a German version. Makes sense if they aren't really compatible.

So any ideas what I could do about it?

As far as I know, there's nothing you can do about it. Region-locks prevent that sort of mixing of expansion/DLC with versions from other regions.
I'll toss it over to the 360 tech forum for you, though.
