I noticed Fenris was glowing, sort of like a Spirit Warrior hmmm. Plus Reaver confirmed! Kind of surprised by that one.

Nice video.

I especially like how you can ask party members about their opinion.

I am surprised that Reaver is a spec, though intrigued! Also, now we know the last one is Champion, Guardian or Berserker. My bet is Guardian.

Fenris seems to start glowing automatically when they enter combat. I would guess he has a unique 'spirit warrior-esque' specialisation.

Haven't watched all of it, but that area looks painfully sterile- I mean, its a Thaig, but it looks like they vacuum and have regular house keeping? Where is the dirt and grit?

And maybe its just the 360 version, but the pop ups for new codex entries and loot take up an ungodly amount of space once lumped on top of the portraits.

DA II you look sexy, vibrant, alive. The characters are alive: Bethany looks sexy and feminine as a sorceress should be; her outfit is crisp, sexy. Wow, Hawke punches. You are looking truly gorgeous Dragon Age II.

Nice beard Lead Designer!

Well, I have to say that I have some unapologetic love for the details you can see for certain things, like amounts of damage in upgrades, etc - your decisions for improvements much more clear and full of info. It seems much less cluttered at the same time as giving more information in an easier-to-digest manner. I love the icon addition to the dialogue wheel also. All in all, it looks much nicer than the original, frankly.  On that regard: WELL DONE Bioware.

To me it seemed like the interviewer was confronting the similarity to Mass Effect because it is obvious, fans talk about it and he did it, I thought anyway, a complimentary manner. It was just put "out there" which wasn't a criticism, sounded more like just an observation from a fan in the know.

All in all: Looking really good. How different will the in-battle skill selection be for the PC version I wonder? Will it be the console type wheel or skill bars like the original? Anyone know offhand? Wait, did I just become a game-play nerd? Someone show me some fan-art quick! ;)

Note:  punching flaming rocks.

It looks like you can toggle helmets off in gameplay too.

Eh.... some parts were nice, but I still can't get over the graphics and the UI. It looks worse than Fable 3..

Also the gore. Thank god there's a toggle.

That just made my day. Loved how the Deep Roads looked and loved what little could be heard from the conversations. Can't wait to try it out!

The PC version has the skill-bar at the bottom of the screen still (we've seen it in other screens) =).

Looking forward to making a deal with that demon. I hope you can talk it into giving you money and loot.

This video makes me unhappy about the deep roads.

The deep roads in DAO were.... how do I put this... more fitting. They fit the lore, the setting, the scenario. What I see here is four walls, tight spaces, cuboidal boxes and straight paths. I don't like it.

I hated the deep roads because they seemed unnecessarily endless, but I never had any problems with their art design.

That's one fine beard, Laidlaw. And thank you for playing with Fenris in your party. I could almost imagine hearing his voice...

Love it. Graphical style seems to work, gameplay looks fine, and I really liked the tone icons in that scene. Super exciting.

Also, Giant Bomb rules.

looks amazing and Ditto to Mikes beard lol..

The game play does look much smoother so my excitement levels gone up.. the only thing that gave me pause was Mikes comment about needing money and may have to do dodgey things to do it... Thats what ruined fable 3 for me was when it ended up soley being about money I'm sure DA2 isn't that based on it but I don't want my game to fail based on gold vs playing a good guy.
