That thaig looked disappointingly bland compared to the ones seen in Origins. Then again the version being played in the video was for console...


Other than that, DA2 is looking awesome. I WANT IT NAO!!!

The UI appears too minimalistic yet intrusive. The fights seem to consist mostly of groups of identical "pushover" enemies. This could make combat very predictable and boring. In Origins there were usually one or two dangerous enemies (emissaries etc.) you had to prioritize.

On the other hand, the environment looks pretty good and I always liked the ME-style dialogue. The specializations also seem more interesting than in Origins.

I squeed a little hearing Bethany.  I do think she was a priest in Ostagar (the VA that is)

Everything I've seen so far today looks amazing Bioware! Falcon Punch a Rock Wraith. Bethany is very pretty and walks like a woman. Mages look awesome and really powerful unlike Origins when they looked much weaker. If all those previews came out on the 02.01.2011 it would have been 95% less anticlimactic than it was.

The game play does look much smoother so my excitement levels gone up.. the only thing that gave me pause was Mikes comment about needing money and may have to do dodgey things to do it... Thats what ruined fable 3 for me was when it ended up soley being about money I'm sure DA2 isn't that based on it but I don't want my game to fail based on gold vs playing a good guy.

if i heard correctly, the collecting money bit was to fund the expedition so that part may be more specific to this quest.

Though I'm wondering if DLC items would tamper with that questline: Need 100 sovereigns to get into the city ? Why do a bunch of quests when you could just sell your 30 DLC items.

cuz Hawke in action has no helmet. But the inventory screen shows him wearing a helmet.....

The game that put me off Bioware until Dragon Age Origins came around.

Of course you cant hear Bethany with them talking over it but can still hear Sheploo Hawke.



God they should make it where you need to complete the game as Lady Hawke first to unlock boring brick bearded Sheploo Hawke

Looks great esp the women - who actually look and move like ladys . Still a shame that we sisnt get to hear Lady Hawke or Fenris but the way info is coming in at the moment I am hoping it will be soon

Also the beard look really suits Mike!
