I adored the rouge class in Dragon Age. My Elven rouge was great fun to play. Thus, my first playthrough is going to be rouge.

going to have to wait for the demo before i can decide which class I want to play- at the moment I'm torn between the Warrior and Mage, but the Rouge looks pretty damn awesome too.

Yay, I can play as a white dude, a white dude, or a white dude!
Why does Bioware('s marketing department) hate fem!Hawke?

Argh... what a mean trailer, hehe. Tough decision this time!
I chose Warrior for Origins, because I'm more of a Paladin player (or melee-hybrid class, that is) and as there was no real hybrid with more weight on the melee side, Warrior / Templar / Champion etc. was the way to go..
But now that trailer made the mage look awesome... I still wonder how much emphasis on the melee part will be possible for the Mage class this time, especially for low levels. Tempting.
Or Rogue, with no need of companions with lockpicking skill? Looks like fun, as well.
As I said... mean trailer!

I remember the screenshots for rogue that came out a while back, he had a hood. I hope they didn't entirely remove it.

Wow. That was underwhelming compared to the DA:O trailers. Choose your champion? That trailer makes me choose not to.
Still waiting for the game with high hopes.

Looking forward to the game, I thought the trailer was fun but silly. Would have liked to see a female Hawke and less emphasis on blood splatter ...

Yes, the rogue looked the coolest of the three, but honestly I didn't think the warrior and mage looked that much different from each other which seemed odd. I know the mage had some cool magic effects but they both looked like grumpy bearded guys with pointy metal things getting splattered with blood.

Cool. The biggest reason i could never play as a mage in Origins was the fact that the clothing options were really poor. I think that Hawke's mage outfit is the best of all of them, so there is a good chance that's how i'll play DAII.

I'm always a fem/rogue (or equivalent) in bioware games for the first play through, and my fav characters are always the rogues, but I may just end up being a mage on this 1st play...
edit: Gahhh! That ripping-the-dude-in-half magically is SO freaking awesome. Dragon Age blood and gore is such a great outlet when all one wants to do is go on a PMS rampage and rip apart the idiots in the office who hate taking direction from a female.
