I have a few heads that are up too high on the neck, is there a way to fix this?
Thanks!

Female humans huh? Add a screenshot to here and I can check if I've got them. Can't fix any "new" ones for you, though.

Yes, the way to fix it is actually open the model in a 3d editor and adjust the head_g node in reference to the reference plane. IE you need to open the model in 3ds or gmax and edit it physically.

I was trying to make some of the CODI heads work in a hak, the female tieflings are not sitting right on the neck. I don't have any editors like that, dang. Thought for once something might be easy. ;)

If the models are in ascii format (not compiled), you can edit them with notepad. Look for a line saying "position" followed by three numbers. Those are X,Y,Z co-ordinates in metres. Edit the third number to change the height that the head sits at. Try moving it down by, say, 0.05 and see what happens. If that's too much, move it up again. It's trial and error.

Hope this helps.

Is there any reason halfling female heads are missing in my slots from 36-160? I have heads there, they just don't show.

Also, I have a few mdl files that look like gobbedy ******, just nonsense not the normal info. I can't edit it to change the number... because after I do it crashes things. Ideas?

you need to make sure that when you change the head number, that all instances inside the mdl file are corrected to the same number.

NM, I think I figured it out. You have to go into the explorer and copy paste the model info into the mdl file that is corrupting or whatever.

It sounds like you're encountering a compiled ASCII model when you get the gobeldy ******.

You can download CompDComp and run the offending MDL's through that to uncompile them into plain text.

If you are in fact trying to open a compiled ASCII file.  You could also use NWExplorer to open the file, select ASCII Model from the bottom, select Resources from the menu bar at the top and then Export Text from the dropdown menu.
