[Chris Priestly]

Meet Anders. Some of you may remember Anders from Dragon Age: Origins Awakening, but this mage has changed. Now bonded with the Spirit of Justice, his anger at the Circle of Magi has corrupted Justice into the Spirit of Vengeance. Everyday is now a struggle to contain the spirit within, and everyday it becomes harder to control.

This is not the Anders you remember.

This kind of worries me though. We knew about him for about a day or two, and he gets an official confirmation. We still haven't got one for Merrill.

This is interesting. I still wonder when Anders will appear in DA2. It has to be at least over a year before Anders shows up. Tho I am looking forward to his a lot now.

GASP. But seriously, this is the most excited I have been since DA2 was announced and suddenly I actually care about those few days between the European release date and the US release date.

Also, please do not kill off Anders.

Perhaps that's the flipside to spirits like Justice and how demons are, inevitably, created? Mages intune with the fade can corrupt spirits perhaps inadvertantly, adding to the mage vs templar debate.

Something tells me one of the major decisions in this game will involve freeing mages (who could very well be  Abominations) or killing Anders.

Fenris and Anders are gonna haaaaate one another.

His character quest might be fun:
Anders: Hey Hawke, I heard Meredith and those templar b*stards were giving you a hard time...

Lady Mage Hawke: Yeah! That b***h needs to be put in her place! I'm under the legal protection of the viscount, and she just won't get of my back.

*Vengeance takes over Anders*:  (eerie voice) Yes, let's put the b***h in her place... How about we burn down the tower with all of the knights inside... alive and screaming....

Hawke: Sure, I'm game!

*quest ensues*

Still feels strange, given we'll be able to import savegames... the differences between Awakening epilogue and Dragon Age 2 content ... it's hurting in my head.

Edit:

Hm, rethinking it, this might even be possible with my outcome of Awakening... not sure.
