1. Bioware is not going to just put out all the characters, even the non-secret ones. Notice that classes only have Warrior listed. Of course, Rogue and Mage will be listed later. Just like our little Elven Keeper might be (I'm not sure where this is coming from so...) and another character who is not a secret companion.

2. If Anders died in your game, Bioware has already provided a logical way for Anders to reappear. Just because they did not mention their plans for DA2, does not mean your story is invalidated. It means you simply were not told the whole story.

3. Actually, the bigger problem I see is the ending with Anders staying on the Grey Wardens for the rest of his life. Though I suppose that can still be explained if he is still an official Grey Warden. But still, it says the Wardens remains his home and lasting companions. Is that just metaphorically? Or is that Anders and not Anders/Vengence?

4. I will agree with people that Justice corrupted due to Anders's hidden feelings. Not that he really hides his hate, but he still suppresses it.

5. This gives me hope we'll get Anders rather than some woe-is-me/ARGH! I BE VENGENCE! character in Anders body. Sure, at some points he may be like that, but I hope he is mostly like Anders from DA:A.

EDIT: 6. I forgot, I do hope Anders is a LI. I don't know if I will go with him when I do FemHawke (I figure he'll be a straight LI), but I want the option.

Yay! Anders! I love his character so much. It would be nice if he is a LI seeing as in Awakening that was not an option with him or any character at all. If he isn't, well that won't be the end of my world. Either way, great to have you back Anders! My Hawke will help you in any way she can to fight that demon within!

Honestly, sometimes I think that me from the future is writing/planning these games. Nearly every choice made has been something I've been excited about, and the change to Anders' character basically guarantees, somehow, against all logic, that I'm going to like him five times as much as I already did, a feat I thought impossible.

Well done, Bioware.

At first, I wasn't too thrilled about Anders returning, but I'm quickly changing my mind. The idea of a darker, deaper Anders sounds more appealing to me.

I have to wonder if the change from Justice to Vengeance has something to do with the taint Anders has from the Joining. Not too sure if it could effect spirits though...

It would certainly provide a reason for replays now that Origin stories are out.

Well, a spirit kept Winne alive when she would otherwise have been dead, so I guess spirits have some effect on the body of their hosts.

The official site says Justice's anger over the circle of magi is what corrupts him. He says in his dialogue with Anders "Demons are spirits that have been corrupted by their desires" so when Anders desires Vengeance for his friend Justice gets corrupted by that desire (he must share the same desire?) and becomes a demon. But it looks like Anders isn't a full abomination, since he's still got control. I really, REALLY hope we can save Justice. I loved him in Awakenings. But if it comes down to a choice - sorry mate, Anders gets my vote .

Yea!! Angsty Anders, I know the Anders fangirls will hate this statement, but I always thought that there SHOULD be more to his character. There had to be some serious issues bubbling behind all that cheerful snark in Awakenings- and now we get to see it!

As an Anders fangirl, even I thought there should be more to his character, but I understand that there were time constraints and the fact that I liked him so much in Awakening makes me even more excited to see him again now that the wonderful writers were given more time and resources to flesh him out a bit more.

This, in every possible sense of the word. Forever.

Except, well, is Justice really and truely a demon now? Or just a really dark, hacked-off spirit? Because if it's the latter, it explains why Anders isn't an abomination.

Interesting that Justice leaves his Grey Warden body and bonds with Anders. Too bad his hatred for Circle corrupts Justice.....



I am guessing , in his personal mission , we either fight a Corrupted justice (as Vengeance ) or we try to calm Anders so Justice can revert to his oldself. Either way , The Fade ! Here I come !

Justice was one of my favorite characters from awakening, Does this mean justice is gone, and he is now evil? Will his character show through Anders? Or will we simply just see anders wrestling a demon inside of him?



obviously you cant answer.......well.........probably all of these questions but at least tell me if the possession is more complex than " I have an uncontrollable evil inside of me" or anders gets mad sometimes and eats puppies.

His concept art makes him look so broken down, so depressed, so... Not Anders-ey. I hope the concept sketch isn't an indication of his new permanent personality. I was hoping what with Fenris and Sebastian we might have a cute guy without a big ball of angst to deal with.

Spirit of Vengeance? Wow Justice possesing a living being was a bad idea because of Anders hating the Circle and Chantry. If it comes down to choosing for Fem Hawke who will live and who gets exorcized Fem Hawke will free Anders!
