Normally I would agree, but apparently these cutscenes are going to be more of the ME2 variety than the DA:O variety. If there's dialogue involved, I want more of it.

Maybe it has to do with "Tells Anders she will return to court"? When can you do that? I don't remember being able to tell Anders what I will do later.

You and I must be related through the bonds of fangirlism, I swear. If I'd squeed any louder at those two scenes, my family would have come running to see what was wrong. I use Fraps to take my game screenshots, so during that whole part with the backward-walking and smirk-grinning, I was on the button every half a second. XD

I also screencapped the "May I point out that you're all right?" from Anders that told me he and mah lady Warden were destined for twoo wuv! (Yes, despite the utter lack of fluff with him, aside from a little flirting--which was always nice.)

So how dark will Dark!Anders be? Is he going to be emo and gothy dark, Angel dark or Heathcliff dark? Or are we going for the psycho bad boy feel?



I'm guessing he will be all conflicty dark.

You have no idea, I am a screenshot taking fool in DA. Cutscenes, battles, standing around and catching Anders/Alistair/LI of the moment looking at my Warden? Yeah. I have thousands (and I could probably make flip books out of every interaction Shepard can have with Garrus. )

The "May I point out that you're all right?" sealed the deal for my Cousland. She started Awakening pretty keen on King Alistair, and now I've got her and Anders together (with varying degrees of complexity) in FOUR versions of her existence. It's a sickness.

I've already joked that it would be my luck if he went full out Angelus, but I'm think he'll be conflicty dark. He's a compassionate guy, a healer, and he seems to enjoy being around people and being social. I can see him being afraid of hurting Hawke and of hurting innocence when he's Vengeance, and that causing him to withdraw into madness.

I think he's going to be going from angsty and conflicted to unhinged and dangerous as the years go by.

... I am the same when it comes to taking screenshots. If I uploaded every screenshot I took, you could almost make a movie out of it XD And not just with Alistair or Anders.  I took at least 10 screenshots of every conversation in the game - no matter with whom  "XDD And it's going to be the same with Garrus, I think. Right now, I'm just playing ME, but I already like him.  XD
(I always told myself "For drawing, so I know what they look like" or "Haha, I have to show that my friends!")
... I already had to buy a external hard disk drive (is that the right word? ... I don't know "XD) because all of my saves and screenshots...

First time posting in this thread, though I have definitely been stalking it since the announcement that Anders would in fact be returning. The fact that he is a LI was one of the best Valentine's Day gifts I have ever gotten...just wish we could've gotten a screenshot like Fenris, Merrill, and Izzy did. Ah well, leaves more to the imagination, right?

Edit: That motivational poster w/ Anders is too funny...but thankfully no longer true with DA 2! Yay!!!

My answer: Turn it off and import Drunkistair.

Considering that the only other Valentine's Day gift I got was a CD from my lovely fiancé, which he listened to on the way home from buying it and which I won't even get before tomorrow because he lives about 200 miles away....I agree with you.

I like your answer! But if that wasn't an option? It would depend on how Alistair approached the situation. Is he acting just as a Grey Warden, or is there Templar posturing? Does Anders know Alistair or that Alistair has been trained as a Templar?

If Hawke suspects that Alistair is coming to kill Anders and is motivated by his beliefs and training, she would kill him.

However, if it's just Grey Warden Alistair doing his job because Anders was responsible for the death of several Wardens, I don't know. It would be extremely difficult to kill Anders, but Alistair would be the more innocent of the two in that situation.

Seriously, thinking about such a scenario is physically painful.

It is Surely. If Anders is my Hawke's LI, she really won't know Alistair and since she will be a mage, personally I think I would defend Anders no matter what. Gah...it is hard. I really hope that doesn't happen!

I was just wondering.. does anyone know if Anders and Justice were created for DA2 and worked back into Awakening or vice-versa ?



I just remember a development video which said that work on DA2 began before Origins was released.
