I would LOVE to see that.  Maybe not that scar specifically, but something unique.  I like the idea of the romance options having some small details, to at least give the impression of having different body models.

Really?  I was kind of annoyed that's part of how they chose to reveal the options in the first place.  I'm not usually one to complain about spoilers but I'd rather just wait and see on some stuff, you know?

Personally, I'm going to be deeply amused if those "romance screenshots" are actually  screenshots of regular conversations after the player unequipped their gear.

Speculation. But since Anders is so deeply integrated into the main story (Kirkwall IS overrun by the Chantry, Anders DOES want to get rid of it, BTW Anders IS our first abomination companion), I can only imagine that any future screenshots - romance or otherwise - may spoil it.

Hell. His model could slowly alter over time. We don't know, but Anders does play a key role.

It's actually right after they've reached the climax of the Rivalry path and have duked it out. You just can't see the knife she's holding to his ribs.

Well, the line " His bloody skin cracked open and it was like he was on fire inside" from the short story could imply that Justice/Vengeance could potentially physically alter Anders even more than the glowing eye thing.

It does seem like strong emotions, or, I guess, adrenaline is what makes the demon manifest outside the vessel.

I'm usually the biggest spoiler junkie, but it's kind of fun this time around to not know anything going in. With DA:O, I knew about Alistair's heritage and some details of the Dark Ritual about a week before the game came out, thanks to the dialog.tlk file in the stand alone Character Creator and a leak of certain sections of the strategy guide online. I was compelled. The fact that the knowledge was out there was too much for me, I HAD to know, even if it was spoiling the enjoyment of learning this stuff ingame.



This time, I will attempt to have some willpower, if the same kind of massiver spoilers become available. It will be hard, but I think I'll be happier in the end.



Even if that means Anders eats my well-meaning warrior templar.

I... really, really don't need to see him glowing blue when my Hawke is trying to bed him. I'd be too busy laughing to appreciate it. It would be super cool to see any mark that being run through with a sword left on him, so long as it's not a bloody gaping hole. A scar or bandage or something, sure.

I am guessing, however, that there is absolutely no plot point involved with his naked body whatsoever, and BioWare just neglected to get a screenshot of him since we all know what he looks like from Awakening anyway.

This is me trying not to get my hopes up.







He totally needs a Grey Warden tat, like that picture that was linked earlier.

Didn't they reveal the romances before Anders was officially announced? Maybe that's why they decided to substitute an Isabela pic for the fourth romance shot.

To be honest, I would rather have not been shown any pics at all. The romance scenes are already a bit awkward in motion. . .a static image doesn't really improve things much.

I never knew Anders, really, because I didn't play Awakenings, but I looked up some videos and I have to say, he's pretty humourous. I'm glad that his humor is not completely gone from the character.

Usually I'm a very decisive person when I play video games. I'll agonize over a choice, but once I make it, that's it. Even in all the subsequent playthrough I probably won't do things differently. This goes for when I choose a romance as well. I've been firmly in the Fenris camp on this one, but I think I'll have to give Anders a try-based mostly on his short story, because...damn....

Anyway, the whole time I romance him I'll hear this song....

Also, I was wondering if anyone knew how the endings for Awakenings were going to be incorporated. Will there be choices that we can choose from for that, or will there just be a gap? Because, as it stands, my Warden never even met Anders or Justice...

If you don't play Awakening, I believe it will be mentioned as if the Orlesian Warden had done stuff there with a pre-set ending, but don't quote me on that. I know they use the Orlesian Warden excuse if you play it with a Warden that actually made the ultimate sacrifice in Origins, although they will keep your actual choices.
The choices made in Awakening will probably be a possible topic of conversation, as they will change Anders' story on how he got to Kirkwall and the whole Justice thing. I don't imagine it's a game-changer unless stuff with the Architect comes up, so if you don't play it you won't be missing out on a whole lot.
