I have a feeling it's the same Justice, since Justice and Anders have a past with each other and it would not be that strange to have a spirit you have already met and traveled with.Ramus Quaritch wrote...
Is it the same Justice as in Awakening? Or is it a different spirit of Justice?
I really hope he doesn't have a tragic end. Come on, BW, you already did this to me once with Alistair, give me a happy ending already!
But darker this time

Anders is going to be fighting this spirit for somewhere around a decade, that's going to take its toll on him for certain. I hope he doesn't lose his old self in that, but it's hard to see how he couldn't.Saraphial wrote...
I hope we still see snippets of the old Anders sometimes... I mean, I liked Justice just fine, but I much preferred Anders' personality. It will make me really sad if Anders never cracks any jokes anymore and also very angry with Justice for making him that way. Besides that, I think the even bigger question here is what will happen to sir pounce-a-lot? It wasn't explicitly stated, but I can't help but think that a used to be spirit of justice, now turned spirit of vengeance would not have any use for a small furry animal.
Ser Pounce-A-Lot had better be back.

So Justice is no longer a good spirit?
Well I would think as a spirit with Anders being so angry, it even changed him. Didn't Anders ask Justice in Awakenings if he could become evil or something?

There is time for tears, and there is time for jokes. There is time for freedom, and there is time for justice. There is time for everything except slavery. The time for justice and freedom has begun.

This does make me a little disheartened, only because Anders was the one companion I have been wanting this whole time and I am concerned about how it’s going to end. On the other hand, it is an interesting turn of events and I am extremely curious as to how it’s going to work and how the story will shape around it and I am keeping an open mind about it. So nicely done, Bioware!
Oh, I'm not saying it's not possible. To the contrary, I find it extremely likely that you'll be able to purify Justice. What that will mean for Anders, I can't say, but I was just indicating that it is most likely not an achievement.
However, don't you dare think this detracts from my ongoing career as a hand-straw ripper.

This is crazy, two of my favorite characters in Awakening, morphed into a twisted and vengeful combination of both. It'll be surely interesting to see how one/both come out of this.
Why not look things from Ander's perspective? Why deny life from him? Why just take him as your pocket slave in your life? If he ever was your friend, you should be concerned of what awaits him in the damned tower.
Edit: Or what happens when he is surprised by a gang of mage killers called templars.

So funny.
I hope there is a way to possibly purify Justice and allow him to return to the Fade, while keeping Anders intact and safe. *hides all straw*

What if Anders like more of justice than you, and would prefer to have Justice as a perma company?

Maybe it gives you a choice? I doubt it though. Or maybe that is just my bias towards Anders talking. Personally, I would rather give them both peace. At the end of my play through in Awakenings, Justice seemed to understand human emotions and saw them as beautiful, or at least saw the beauty in them. I believe if he were purified, he’d want to return back to the Fade in order to keep from being corrupted again. I don’t think he would want to be anything other than a just and kind spirit, it would disturb him to fully understand what he has become. Anders must live though…he must
EDIT:
I may have misconstrued what you were asking. If so, I apologize. If you were asking whether or not Anders would want me or Justice, that makes no difference. I am glad to have Anders back as a LI or companion, and I’d want him as a companion, not Justice. And of course he’d like me better.

A marriage made in heaven? I do think Anders is fond of his own looks. But he may wish for more than self-love
I think Anders is more fond of what he have inside. If you look into the mirror, you only look as good as you are. The rest is reflections in physical world.
However I am very sure Anders would enjoy loving lovely beings

The hairline and lines around his eyes don't scream "youth" to me.

I haven't played much Awakening and haven't seen this Justice ever. Will have to fix that this week.
Edit to your edit: Heh, he could like you better, but too many people take it as self-explanatory that companions would love them unconditionally.

For anyone who enjoyed the Batman joke... I give you this:
I love this picture, haha. Although Batman is so totally better than Anders or Justice, and those two even combined. Batman RULEZ, that is all.
Batman and all those Hollywood heroes are so very *yawn* and lame. You have seen one, you have seen everyone.
That picture though is funny. Even batman costume does not make Anders lame.
Edit: And best yet no bloodshot evil wannabee scare meh! eyes.
*******
Edit: Not going to put thread off-topic so I edit this message. I call anyone and anything I want LAME anytime want, and none have nothing to say about it, and if it hurt your feelings, go share about it to Batman lovers group. This as a respense to troll reply made to this post.
Batman has always been most lame and stupid comic here I have known.

I think you’ll like him. He was a fantastic character, so it isn’t that I don’t like Justice, because I do. He was a melancholy spirit who was torn between the real world and the Fade. I thought he was badass, too.
I just, you know.. have a thing for sarcastic and witty male mages named Anders. Even if he isn’t a LI, which I hope he is, but if he is not, I would still like him better due to his light sardonic side.

On the wiki it says Merrill is a companion. In the new magazine it mentions her as wellSammyJB17 wrote...
This kind of worries me though. We knew about him for about a day or two, and he gets an official confirmation. We still haven't got one for Merrill.
