They wrote a similar story for Alistair before Origins where it told about how he was recruited even though he hadn't come in first in a tournament. It never got brought up in game. He said he was recruited, but not that another templar came in first, or even that there was a tournament . There was another story about Duncan burning a village to the ground so the taint didn't spread that didn't even get the slightest whisper of a hint in-game.
It seems likely Anders might, if he even talks about the incident, just say he was "out of control" or the like. Not "and I ate one of their arms and don't even remember it!" or whatever. Especially if it was a one-time thing brought on by their mutual shock and lack of preparedness at what would happen when they joined together, and hadn't been repeated since he learned to keep the demon in check.

It is strange how it would be business as usual, if they had not hinted cannibalism at all.
Woah! Woah! "Cannabalism"?
Did Anders just get a bit more awesome to me? I think he just did. Hell yes. It'll be like having Hannibal Lectre in my party, except he's possessed, and can light people on fire with his mind.

I wondered about this too. That would mean about 95% of DA2 players would likely never know about it (what percentage of DAO players come to this forum, anyway?)LupusYondergirl wrote...
You know, I think there's a good chance Hawke may never even know about the cannibalism/blood drinking thing.

That seems likely. I mean, I doubt he would really want to relive that again in telling it to Hawke, (the poor boy probably still has the occasional nightmare about it).

@LupusYondergirl: I have no idea what you're talking about with a tournament. :

Quoting this so it's on this page too! I love it!
Also, I agree with LupusYonderGirl. It's unlikely that Hawke will ever know about the cannibalism incident. If Anders even tells her about the incident, he'll probably leave it vague... "You don't even want to know what I did, it was horrible", that kind of thing. So having the cannibalism affect Hawke's reaction to him would be pretty meta on our part.

Considering darkspawn are born of dwarves turned into broodmothers, if you would consider eating dwarves cannibalism the same as eating humans, then technically your PC, Alistair and Duncan are all cannibals as well. It's just that their version was also tainted with festering evil. Yum!SpottySpec wrote...
lol exactly! He's drank darkspawn blood, that...sounds a billion times more gross.
Awesome GIF, ankuu!<3
Does that mean that the Architect drinking Warden blood means...incestous cannibalism?
Im confoozed.
This just reminded me that no amount of Anders munching on a few bodies while semi unconcious is as disturbing as how broodmothers become what they are and and reproduce...
I'm sorry that's a terrible image, have an Anders!

Also reading the creativity on this thread has been so awesome! <3

It's a known fact that 83% of statistics are pulled out of someone's ass. Luckily, most are sanitized first....

Thanks for the link! <3 Yeah, I stalked the forums when ME2 came out, but I wasn't here for DA:O. Anything like this that isn't in the game or the wiki, I've missed out on.Batteries wrote...

Where does that clip of Fenris come from? I haven't seen it yet.
*Goes back to lurking, for she can't seem to think of anything to say about Anders at the moment*

Yeah, I really doubt we'll see this mentioned in the game. On a more pratical note, would you really want to talk about how you killed and ate a few wardens and templars once? Not me. That's a real friendship killer topic.
Also, here's the Fenris clip you wanted, MIndina.
