Maybe Adam howden is possessed Anders and you get Greg back if you get a happy ending and free Anders ... I'm allowed a bit of optimism aren't I?

Possibly, but why wouldn't he creditted as such? Why mark him as Anders?

I'm under the impression that Greg Ellis and Adam Leadbetter have smaller parts than Adam Howden. Specifically because Anders isn't Anders anymore, nor is he justice. He is, essentially, Vengeance. How that ends who can say?

Okay, now that I've thought this out... he was being possessed when he was speaking in the video. This makes me sad I keep meaning to bite my tongue on this matter until I can see/hear it for myself when the full game comes out... but I can't help but speculate >_<

If the main VA credited is Vengeance alone, that would mean that Vengeance would be in control most of the time in the game, which is not the impression I get from things Jennifer Helper has said. Maybe they've given him a new voice while Vengeance is in residence.

That is a bit odd. I'd like some clarification on that. Hummm.

Greg admits on Facebook that he doesn't play the game. If he did some VA on Anders he might have thought that was all there was for the game so said that he did the voice, whereas he maybe only did a fraction.

ah yes, but he might have done Anders voice some of the time. If the new guy does Anders with Vengeance in residence, Greg might do some VA if Anders gets freed or occasionally if Vengeance gets pushed right to the background, or for some other reason, but the new voice might be the main one. Greg might have just thought the Anders dialogue he did was the only Anders dialogue.

Adam Browden can be heard here, as Silas from Leliana's Song (spoiler warning of course).

Hmm... Definitely could be the "possessed" voice for Anders.  But I heard way too much of Ellis in the gameplay trailer (the one where he was fighting in the Deep Roads).

If the new VA is doing most of Anders I hope he's as good at the cheerful snark as Greg Ellis was.

 I really enjoyed Silas's voice actor, so at least that's somewhat heartening.  I found him the only sympathetic side character in that god-awful DLC.  It would be sort of sweet if all three voice actors (Anders, Vengeance and Justice) emerged depending on the situation.  That idea is kind of growing on me and I hope that's the direction they go.  They might have thought listing three voice actors under one character name would be a spoiler?
Someone may have sneakily asked for clarification on Ellis's FB page.

That seems...pricey, unless BW gets a bulk rate on Ellis.

So now I'm a little nervous, but I'm holding out hope that Ellis' Anders is in full effect during most of the personal conversations.

Sure, but unless he has the memory of a fruit fly, he'd probably make the connection between a character like Anders - who must have taken hours and hours of recording - to that same character coming back again.  They'd probably brush him up on the characteristics to keep continuity if they were having him do the same exact voice.

These people voice hundreds of characters over the years, I'm sure they would specifically remind them of what the individual character sounded like if they were asked to repeat the tone and particular accent.

No Greg Ellis?! Anders' voice is the first thing I noticed and the thing I loved most about him in Awakening. Devs, please confirm this is some horrible typo! 

Well, I haven't had a soul-crushing blow to my expectations of Anders in a good... 8 days now. I guess I was due.
