Something like, and I'm speculating here so don't have a heart attack, Anders was dead all along and only Justice remains.
K... That's enough heart break for today.
I have to get out before the speculation kills me!

What I'm thinking now it's that Mr. Ellis was not convincingly pulling off Justice/Vengeance Anders? That voice that we heard in his intro was very serious and perhaps needed a different touch. Things like this have happened -- I mean, heck, Isabela and Merrill also have replacement actors.

This is a possibility. Still, it's distressing. I thought Ellis was pretty great at conveying crazy/seriousness/vehemence as Cullen and Anders, so maybe he's just lacking that demonic edge or something.

Honestly, as long as I get Anders being cute and snarky at least some of the time, I'll be happy.
But Gaiderade saying he can't explain the change in VA without spoilers is a little worrying :U

This spoiler had better be a calm good reason. Why bring Greg in if you're not going to use his work? If he ends up voicing anyone else I'll throw a fit. That's just maliciously teasing us.

Okay, so get this idea. Anders is still fully alive. But he remembers all the people that Vengeance has killed and devoured. And it's happened too many times to count. Not just the facts, but the details. Every bite. Every drink of blood. It has sent the true Anders into the darkest corners of his own mind where he does nothing but scream. And that which walks is something else.

A question for those that have beaten the demo: How spoilery is it? Does it mostly show off combat? I'm not sure if I want to skip it or not.

I think Cullen's rage about the mages is a bit different from "I WILL LAY VENGEANCE UPON ALL THOSE WHO STAND IN MY WAY" in a giant, echo-y voice.

Sigh. What was the point of bringing back Anders at all? They might as well have created a new human male
mage for this role. I'm still trying to be hopeful, but the reason I started feeling excited at all (instead of cautiously optimistic) was because of Anders being on the team. Now I don't even know...
