Also, for those who played the demo, did you notice that Hayder had Anders' Awakening hairstyle? Since it's still in the game, I wonder why they decided to change it. Just to mix things up, along with his new outfit?

It looks to me that they're giving a few part members unique hairstyles (Izzy and Aveline with their special accessories come to mind). Of course, I'm conjecturing, and have no way of knowing if those hairstyles will be available for others, but they are pretty recognizable, so I would be surprised if they weren't unique.

Howden was the prisoner at Ostagar. If you ask me, he sounded an awful lot like Ellis/Anders so I have no worries whatsoever.

Yeah, this was not a nice suprice. But I guess we have to trust the Devs. They atleast tryed to use the original Anders but desided that it would not work.
If they have made Anders a darker and more serius character then I guess I can understand that the voice did not work. Still, it's sad.

I was listening to this one earlier, to compare Ellis's voice to Howden's. They really don't sound *that* much alike, to me, except for the fact of the accent. I guess we'll have to hear Adam Howden speaking "Anders-esque" lines to make a fair comparison.

Basically Anders is going to sound very different, have a very different outlook, and look very different in DA2. I'm still wondering why they didn't just create a new character, but I'll try to go in with an open mind. As said above, my Hawke doesn't know the character.
That sounds like he wasn't too sure about it himself maybe.
I... Can't say I'm not dissapointed, but I'll give the new VA the benefit of the doubt.

The fact you paired that up with David Tennant makes me want to cry even more. This is not a good birthday present Bioware!
I’m trying very hard to give Adam Howden the benefit of the doubt, I'm absolutely certain he's an amazing VA...but mmm, I don't know, guess I'll have to wait and hear. I suppose it adds to the fact that Anders has changed quite a bit..
