Okay, so I played a new game of Origin just to double check the Prisoner at Ostagar's voice... I think I can see him pulling off Ander's okay. He's played roles with deeper voices, and those have more dialogue than the Prisoner, but the Prisoner has a 'light' voice and seems to manage a bit of snark.



Damn it. I now wish I could have let the poor sod out and recruited him. XD;

Is there anyway to redeem Anders/Vengance? It seems that this anger is seething through him and twisting him from the inside out. Often people can come terms with their anger, and it seems that at its heart, the issue lies with the resentment of the chantry's templars. I just wonder if it's possible.

We don't know Let's hope so I would like the option to exorcise Anders and send Vengeance/Justice back to the fade.

Nah, you would have to have the option of saving him as a friend as well. Romance only serves its own purpose. Not that I wouldn't mind an added scene or two if romance is active.

As I said earlier in the 1st thread, it will be really difficult not to be OOC and keep in mind that my Hawke wasn't waiting for Anders for a year, that she doesn't know him and may be actually scared of his demon problems... Ok, kidding, Hawke does not know what is fear, right, Varric?

My Hawke is going to be impressed by his being a healer. It's a...thing. A reaver thing. Also, her favorite rainy day book is "The Lusty Refugee Turned Champion and the Tortured Healer That She Loved". How can she not pursue him?

This has been said before by many people but HIS BOOTS. I love his whole outfit but the boots, wow. I had a weird thing for co-ordinating staffs with robes in Origins though... hmm... hopefully Anders won't have to wander about barefisted until I find something to match.

So I was thinking today, maybe they changed Anders VA because Cullen is going to be in it with a bigger role. And maybe it just wouldn't work for them to be voiced by the same person. It has Greg Ellis in the credits so he is voicing someone we just don't know who.
I really have no idea, that was only a guess.

@AndrastesKnickers I really think they would have changed CULLEN's voice rather than Anders' if that was the case, considering Anders is the bigger role, but I could be wrong.



Greg Ellis has gone quiet on his facebook page now, so I suspect he's been told he's not allowed to discuss it any more. That would make sense if it's spoilery.

Lol, while I do hope Bioware doesn't go that route, I would still prefer it to "The love of a good woman will NOT save him and they both die alone after a tortured existence", or whatever other heartbreaking ending they can come up with.
