I don't think anything except psychosis or a severe drinking problem can explain Namaya.  LOL!

Really, though, I think Anders could have a rogue fetish.  Of course, he also has a warrior and mage fetish, so I don't know how much stock you can put in that. 

ETA:  I second the Ryan Reynolds resemblance.  Anders also has a similar personality to most of the characters Reynolds plays: the guy who never shuts up and gets on people's nerves while still being charming.

The staff auto-attack now does damage based on the kind of staff it is, right? So that could be some sort of spirit damage staff that he's wielding, and all other spirit staves would have the same animation. One possibility to consider!

And his battlecries made me all wibbly. It's not the same voice, but it is the kind of thing that Anders would say!

Companion romances! I would set Anders up with Bethany, and have my Hawke tell him that if he breaks her heart she'd gut him. I'd want Merrill to have a platonic BFFship with the far more worldly Isabela, which slowly turns into something more. Fenris and Aveline would have some sort of furtive serial fling that they swear they can give up any time, and are hoping desperately that the rest of the group doesn't know about. Varric... well, I'm keeping him for myself. What can I say?

Perhaps!  Cullen was listed in the face morphs in the demo files.

But, I was looking at the ending of Awakening, and when it came to Anders, it said something like "last heard of Anders was that he took a roll on a merchants ship under the orders of a certain female captain.." maybe... Isabella? Maybe Isabella and Anders know each other?

It kinda makes me sad to hear that the voice actor has been changed, but I am going to give the new guy the benefit of the doubt (his voice was very dreamy in the DAII Anders debut trailer) I'm sure he'll give one helluva performance

"I can't answer that without spoiling" were the exact words, you're right.
