I'd prefer it happens afterwards. I wouldn't like to just hear about it off-screen. Plus, I want to see a nice, upbeat Anders at -some- point in the game. <3

My guess is that we will meet Anders prior to the possession, and then his trying to find a way to separate himself from Justice/Vengeance is his major motivation throughout the game. I'm also guessing that we will be able to separate them again by game's end, hopefully while also uncorrupting Justice in the process.

The next thing to will happen will be this: his kitten ser-pounce-alot has his name changed to ser-demon-alot due to a demonic posession from Justice's demon-possesed dog which also posessed anders kitten and bioware will create a dlc to straight things up...

I have never spared the Architect....I should do it once though, for the achievement (if there is one), but not because my PC could make a deal with him like that...ever...that offer was a bit of a shocker:blink:

See, I actually always spare the Architect . Though my primary motive for doing so always seems to be "it will make things more dramatic later", rather than any of my characters actually doing it for in-game character reasons. That and I think he is awesome, if woefully underdeveloped. On my first game I actually had to kill half my party (Sigrun and Justice, wwwwhyyyyyy!!!?).

Regretably, that means I rarely, if ever, hear his battle theme, which is never played anywhere else.

Wow, well okay then. I am going to start a fresh replay of Awakening tonight and try something new (and that's actually quite hard to do in my case). I almost feel sick when companions I adore turn around and want to kill me......

I think the DR with Morrigan more than guarantees "things more dramatic later", so the Architect+Morrigan old god baby = major major dramz 

Justice's battle theme.... is that the music or his battle cry? Hmmm I've got to pay a bit more attention but Justice's time in Awakening seems too short to me anyway...

I wonder what would happen if at one point we were forced (or voluntaringly) into the fade what would happen to AndGeance? It would be an interesting gameplay concept to see how the devs would play that one out.

Also what part of the "heirarchy" would the now turned Vengeance reside in? Wrath or something like that (not likely to be rage, too simple for the concept of vengence).

I was replaying Awakening last night and I got the party banter where Justice tells Anders he he should fight back at his templar oppressors. Anders jokes that he does not want to die. Very fitting, Bioware.I can't wait to see how this plays out in the game.

He is the only character that looks almost the same as he did in Dragon Age 1, only more manly and mature. I like that + hair! :OI just don't dig the clothes that much...that cloth hanging on his chest looks like something i would wipe the floor with.

Upload the image address  on imageshack in the url part with the option "optimizing without resizing", then put in you forum setting the "forum link" of the uploaded image. It works for me

Anders just became the most interesting party member so far in the game. Wicked.

I seriously doubt that he has mood changes after every sentence.

Anyway to all others I guess I shouldn't freak out just yet but you can't assume that Anders will not change after having to go everyday with such an ordeal. I know I read somewhere Mr. Gaider mentioned that people change in regards to Anders, which is why I was freaking out. I really hope there's a way to save Anders and Justice but if I'm given the choice, sorry Justice.

he~ Same for me. I like Anders and Nathaniel way more but Justice was a very interesting character nonetheless. The way BW has combined these two it's just really interesting to me. I hope the though I am given the choice to save one of the two or both. It would suck if Anders has to die no matter what.

I don't tink Anders is going to die no matter what. I am really interested on how they handled Anders-Vengeance. Probably the thing I like most is the fact that a spirit can be corrupted and become a "demonic spirit".

Maybe one of Anders's quest gives us the possibility to go into the Fade and fight Vengeance.

I wonder how the whole rivarly and friendship thing play into Anders situation. Does Justice's personality show more than Anders or vice versa depending on which direction you go? That would be really neat to see also. This might affect his quest too and whether you can save him or not.

I'm not sure we're going to speak with Vengeance (at least at the start, maybe something change after Ander's quests). Anders is the main person, and he tries to not be overwhelmed by Vengeance. At least this is how I understand.

*looks at the clock* Dang, it's past 6:00 AM and I'm still not tired. *sigh* Since sleep doesn't appear to be on the menu for the moment, I decided to write up some silly banter to pass the time. It was written with Anders in mind, so that is why I'm posting it here. Hope that's okay.  I know I could post this in the Fenris thread as he plays a larger part, but dunno if that would be considered spamming. I'll just post it here for the time being.

With regards to an Anders romance, I fully support it, but the idea of, uh, consumating with Justice in tow comes across as all sorts of crazy, at least for me. This is why I'm really hoping Justice can be exorcised before sexytimes. If that's not an option, well... there's always hope Fenris' romance is of the more sane variety, aye?

Fenris: Touch me with just a fingertip, human female, and I will phase my hand through you, doing many horrible things to your insides in the process.

Ha, can't be worse than what I have to go through once a month!

[In reference to the spelling of Sebastian's comments, it's more or less phonetic. Maker, it's harder than I thought picturing his accent in my head and expressing it in written form. Just so we're clear, I'm not poking fun at it. Scottish accents are way too sexy to be poked at in fun, anyway. ]

See what the lack of sleep does to me? It leads me to write these silly banter things. Ah well, I consider it a good stress releaser and it also helps lighten the mood in an otherwise tense thread. It's totally worth it if my time-wastin' banter can make even one person chuckle or laugh. Actually, I think the rival path with Anders is going to involve telling him that Templars have it right and that they are in place to protect people from Mages LIKE Anders... and the friendship path will lead to some kind of redemption (hey, calm down buddy, you're just justifying those jerks for what they're doing -- PROVE THEM WRONG!).



Bioware does like to break hearts, though, so we'll see.
