Wow, very interesting!!! I had to admit I squealed a bit when I put Anders in my party... heehee.

But I'm a little curious! 1) old hair cut! 2) wardrobe change (very slight but still there)! 3) Vengeance ability! It looks like this ability can change, as we saw the "Justice" button in his first gameplay video. Hm, very interesting indeed.

BUT EEEEE SO HANDSOME, OOH MISTER ANDERS OOH.

Or one of them could be from Varric's exaggerations- maybe if he doesn't like Anders he made him look more ragged and sound more pompous than normal, like we saw in the talking clip.

Or, he made him out to be much more clean cut to tweak the Chantry's nose.

Haven't tried it with the demo yet, but the directions are basically the same, except you right click the game in your library, go to properties, click 'set launch options' then paste -enabledeveloperconsole into the box. I don't know if it'll work, but I'm gonna give it a shot later.

Can anyone tell me the actual name of his specialization? I'm on my phone and can't get a clear enough look at the image... T_T

Also, I'm glad his spec seems to be focused more on the fact that he has a freaking demon in him, rather than his own version of the Spirit Healer spec. Much more interesting.

I couldn't click on him for dialog and I didn't hear him yelling anything during battle.   Ah well, I don't mind waiting for the full impact of the Anders!  He also didn't come with any healing spells assigned, which I think is more a result of him not belonging anywhere near Lothering or that part of the game.

Eeeee! The DA2 Battle Sneer looks great on him! I am sorely tempted to throw him into my demo to swoon, but I don't want to lessen the impact of meeting him in the actual game.

And I love the darker robes. I hope they're his upgraded look. I prefer his messier hair, but that's just because it's more unique.

Ok Anders fans. I inquire about who is Anders and to some extent Justice. I haven't played Awakening, I only know what bit I got from the wiki and the story in the OP. His attitube seems one of selfless laid back man, at least that is what I gather. With a Spirit filled with Vigilante feeling (right?) I can't help but think Anders might develop into a Mage version of Batman (which sounds pretty interesting).

Guess I'll stick it until release date, unless they have a launch trailer come out with him speaking in it before hand.
I assume a launch trailer will come out anyways.

 Hi guys!  

I've been lurking on these forums for the past week.  I'm a huge DA fan, and my favorite character in the previous games was undoubtedly Anders.  One might say that DA is my favorite game, but that title is rivaled by another: the Sims.   I believe on this thread I saw Sims 3 versions of the characters?  Well, I've created ones for TS2! 

I affectionately call him...  ANDERPS. 



I definitely got some more work to do...  But it's a start!  Eventually I'd like to figure out how to get rid of the bangs on that hair- it's a nice short ponytail and otherwise works well on him.

I'm going with older model, in terms of hair and his face (which doesn't look so different tho), maybe his outfit will change to this model later? Or they could have just discarded it in favor of his new one, which I prefer. SO glad they got rid of that stupid ponytail* too.

*I don't hate ponytails, I just despise that hair model.

I love the new hairstyle so I hope it sticks around the whole game. Though I like the darker color scheme for his outfit better. Hmm. It's all good. I love his unique magic animation. You can actually tell what attacks characters are using, and who is using them, without having to check next to their name.
