It also raises the question... if a spirit of virtue can be corrupted, can a demon be healed...?

But yeah, that would be interesting. Plus I really liked Justice from Awakenings - he may need to be fix'd

Wonder how they will explain this if we handed Anders back to the Templars, or if it changed the Taint within him if he became a GW.

Perhaps that's the flipside to spirits like Justice and how demons are, inevitably, created? Mages intune with the fade can corrupt spirits perhaps inadvertantly, adding to the mage vs templar debate.

Something tells me one of the major decisions in this game will involve freeing mages (who could very well be  Abominations) or killing Anders.

Interesting theory and could explain why the demons are after mages.  Could very well be possible as justice and vengeance are two closely related but very different concepts

His slave handler is a Tevinter Magister, and I'm going to knock a guess with assuming that Tevinter is pretty much comprised of the following: Aggressive Mages and maltreated Elven slaves.
