I don't know, I appreciated how up-front he was about it, and didn't try hiding it or lying about it like a lot of guys I know have. Right off the bat, he was just, "Yeah, I like men too, is this going to be a problem?" And after thinking it over for about two seconds I was like, "....Nahhhhhh." And then we proceeded to have an epic romance.

While it might be a little weird to you for someone that you are potentially going to romance to say that "hey I've romanced members of my own sex before," the fact of the matter is that he is going to like women, too, no matter what.  I guess I'm not too squicked about that, it might just be preference.  But hey, if Anders does bring that topic up and it bothers you that much, don't romance him I guess...?  Truth of the matter is that, if he does come up with some kind of proposition for Hawke of the romantic kind, you need to remember that he's obviously interested in your character regardless of what gender they are.

Step out of your character's shoes for a second and think about it that way before going with gut reactions, is what I might be trying to say?

It's entirely possible even if you gave him up to the Templars he got away. I mean, he was already a Warden by then too. Doesn't Warden authority surpass the Templars?

Also, what sane Warden would give up Anders and his wonderful healing hands to the Templars? Honestly, those silly spoons.

It is annoying, but I do enjoy playing on the console. Nevermind, I know I can't win there.


I don't know if anyone else here is arachnaphobic, but I feel obliged to warn those of you that are that the spiders in DA2 are HUGE. I was looking at screenshots, and the thing was bigger than the character who was fighting it. It took up the entire screen!
This may be the first time I've felt victimised by Bioware.

heh.....everytime a spider swooped down out of nowhere in origins i always droped my mouse and ended up saying "damn you ninja spidery scary thingies!"   
 ..... spiders freak me out ...

I know, I tried to fight them with my eyes shut (after switching to casual). Or switch to an archer/mage, but they appear everywhere! From the ceiling... hissing.

I want Anders to protect me... *ahem* I mean, protect Hawke, when the spiders appear.

I don't know why you'd have that feeling actually. Since I'm not the spiteful type of person who would say something like that. But whatevs.

(Anyway, this is 'evidence' about Anders, not about them all. But again, whatevs.)

*hugs* It's alright. They are not real. And you can channel your fear into hatred and stab them in all their eyes with your righteous daggers and arrows and shoot all your fireballs at them.  That's what I'll do. If I survive the heart attack first.

I imposed a ban on myself years ago regarding fanart. I only draw my own characters cause then it doesn't matter if they get mangled. ^^; Though the temptation to break that rule is overwhelming when faced with the prettiness of Anders.
