ikr? Am I going to have to give up having them together in my party? meep! That said, Hawke doesn't plan on trying to love them both at the same time, so I guess as long as I do what's right by my current one-true-wuv it'll all work out ok in the end.

I reckon an Anders/Fenris party is going to be EPIC.

I don't know if anyone else here is arachnaphobic, but I feel obliged to warn those of you that are that the spiders in DA2 are HUGE. I was looking at screenshots, and the thing was bigger than the character who was fighting it. It took up the entire screen!
This may be the first time I've felt victimised by Bioware.

Bloody hated the spiders in origins. Made me jump whenever they descended upon me.. <_<
8 days and 2 hours till Anders for us Europeans <3 *sigh* seriously contemplating pulling a sickey..

ETA:  I'm lucky that next week is Spring Break for me.  Now I just to (shamefully and evilly) hope that my husband is scheduled for a particularly busy week so he doesn't harass me...

So speaking of Hawke's family, what do you think Anders will think of them?  Do you think they would be a comfort for him?  He hasn't had any family in such a long time, and I'm sure Mama Hawke would welcome him with open arms.

So long as he doesn't abominify (is that even a word?) her mage children, I can see her liking him. As long as she doesn't like him too much. After all, mamaHawke is rather attractive and I doubt Anders would say no to an older woman. I think Anders and Beth would get along too.

Uh yeah, if my kid came home dating someone possessed by a spirit of Vengeance, I wouldn't break out the good China or start dreaming of grandbabies.  I don't think she's gonna be big on any of the LI's, actually, although she might take a shining to Sebastian.

Hmm. Bethany would likely be friendly. Fellow apostates after all. I don't see Carver getting along with him much.

And if Mama Hawke is as nice to Anders as she was to her son/daughter during the Lothering escape then it might be better they don't meet.

Of course I really enjoy thinking about the awkward dinners at Hawke House. Especially for bi options.

M!Hawke: Hi Mum!
Mama Hawke: Oh! Welcome home dear! Nice you brought your friends along!

*after much dinner-talk*

Mama Hawke: So...when are you going to settle down with a girl? You're not getting any younger, and there's only so many scars you can get before it stops being attractive.

I'm not foreseeing any fluffy endings for Hawke, to be honest.  Even the "good" endings in Origins were mainly bittersweet.  I hope Anders can get the Vengeance thing sorted, but happy family dinners don't seem like they're on the near horizon.

I have made no secret of the fact that I am looking forward to Carver and Anders more than any of the characters, and I'm especially excited about their party banter.  I picture Carver really disliking Anders for a million reasons, but they eventually end up being buddies.  

I want Carver to have a Pam Beesley moment:
Carver: No, Anders is not my friend. ::long pause:: Oh my God, Anders is kind of my friend.
