I'm totally amused by the idea of bringing Anders home to Mama Hawke. Although, I'm predicting that Hawke and Mama Hawke's relationship might become strained after Carver/Bethany's death. I'm guessing bringing home an possessed mage *might* not be what she's hoping for.

Now to reply to everyone who replyed to my comment on page 219.. I have nothing against bi people, and i know you can still romance Anders if your female. But I just dont feel like it fits his character (at the moment.) It also has to do with a short story I read that invovled Anders that just makes me freak when I think Anders might be bi, lol.

There's was a thread earlier (or two or three I just glance the forums now) that pointed out there's lots of glowing things in DA2, tattoos, eyes, vengeance... It's a glow in the dark partay! I think someone said there're bringing everyone that glows in the deep roads, pro tip right there.

 Thinking about Vengeance-possessed Anders makes me sad (our freedom-loving boy is trapped inside his own head with a frigging demon!), but I may eventually be able to overcome that with more wonderful art like that, Tarantella. 

I'm curious about the Aveline/Anders dynamic. While, yes, her husband was a templar, I think Aveline is also likely to be rather practical. After all, she was reasonable when first meeting our characters and talked everyone down from a nasty confrontation there. She joins the city guard, not the Templars, so I'm thinking their ideals may not hold so much appeal for her. I'm hoping she'll take the practical approach to Anders, and fear him because he could hurt someone under her protection, not just because he's an apostate on the loose.

I'm thinking there will be some serious Merrill/Anders flirting. Elf, tattoos, mage, and 10x nicer than Velanna. I'm looking forward to that banter in particular!
Actually, Anders flirting with any of the companions could be hilarious, and I hope they haven't turned down that side of him too much. I get the feeling he hasn't really got much in the way of friends or aquantainces in Kirkwall, and he comes across as an essentially social animal, so it might be a relief for him to once again be among people he can befriend. People to talk to! That laugh at his jokes! And don't freak out at a hint of weirdness (or full-blown demonic possession) in him.

That's what always bugged with with the companions complaining when I recruit Zevran! Guys, we just took out an ambush of a dozen mercs without breaking a sweat, and you think we can't manage a single damn elf in the camp? If he tries anything we can kill him, but in the meantime we might as well make him work for us!
