I would like to mention something that concerns me, though, that worried me about last night's troll beating ....

I really hope that we don't become one of those communities where there CAN BE ONLY ONE HAWKE for Anders. If you know what I mean?

Just gave Anders to the Templars, wasn't expecting such a fast execution but I was rooting for the templar, and lo and behold he joins your party, replacing Anders. Going to keep him in my party 100% of the time

I don't think that's what the problem was. It was the sheer vitriol being shoved in our faces. The whole point of our side of the argument would be choice, so going against that by only having one Hawke be 'right' for Anders doesn't really match up with the message.

The problem was the hatred for M!Hawke, not the inclusion of F!Hawke.

No, I know that wasn't the problem.  I read the whole thread.    Just don't wanna be excluded because I'll probably never have an MHawke.  It's happened in other threads, I've seen.  Anyway, don't mind me.

I agree.  What that person was saying was completely unacceptable and hateful, and I sincerely hope they get kicked off the forums for good.  There is no place in this community for hateful, closed-minded people like that.  Everyone can have a different opinion, of course, but not if they're being blatantly offensive to others and forcing their opinion on them.  You know?

Dude, if you're going to troll with fake spoilers, at least keep it to one thread. Doing it in the Fenris and Merrill threads within ten minutes is a tad obvious.<_<

My biggest dilema right now is choosing a gender to romance Anders with first! And whether I want to do it as a friend or a rival...

This is the first time I've been seriously doubting my 'always play female first' thing. I probably still will, but for a while it was agony trying to decide.

Hee, me too.  It's a good dilema, but a tad frustrating. On one hand, the recent spoilers make me want to play as M!Hawke. On the other, well, I'm female.

@Nivilant, I think this is going to the first time that my male playthrough isn't going to be an afterthought or just to see different options. I'm planning on starting with a F!Mage then do a M!Rogue, but that's at the moment. There are still like 2 and a half days to wait, so I might change my mind. XD

Same here, though I'll be going with F!Warrior and M!Mage. Sisters and brothers.

Although I get the feeling Magey Hawke isn't going to get on with lil' bro Carver.

I'm thinking mage and warrior for my first play-throughs. Haven't decided which gender will be which. I just love walking around in plate and robes!

I loved the templar armour in DAO. It was a combination of robes and plate

I think it was all the excitement on the fact that Anders was going to be a LI for both genders. Both male and female Hawke's should rejoice!

My first playthrough will definitely be a lady Hawke.

If I finish all my work by this evening, I'm going to do some art. I have some inspiration.

I freely admit I find M!Hawke more appealing for Anders than F!Hawke, but I think it's probably the reverse of a guy watching two lesbians make-out. Y'know? More fascination than anything. *wonders if that made sense at all*

But my warrior Hawke girl is going to be the aggressive type, which is always fun to play. Most likely she'll be my main playthrough.

Just wanted to say I am very happy Anders (and everyone?) is bi, this means everyone can have their cake and not glance jealously at someone else's hoping a generous modder comes along. LOVE for everyone!! And I'm sorry but there's no gender for love.

I believe I know what you mean (but probably coming from the opposite direction ... having experienced similar for another BW character myself) <_<

I can't see it happening here. Everyone here is too cool for that.
