@crotti: You're drawing is gorgeous! It's almost like you could just reach into the screen and touch his hand! ^^ I hope you repost when it's finished cause it's looking great so far!
So I actually managed to make it look that way? Yay! XD I decided to try drawing like that some days ago (I saw some really scary pictures - in a good way xD - and wondered whether I could do this, too), but I had no idea how I could do that
So I tried. (and I still think it's wrong XD)
I don't know what I have to do to make it look more... real o__O
Wow! I'm very impressed that you worked it out yourself like that, it looks really hard! (I've never been able to grasp perspective so am jealous, heeehee
)
Well, like I said, I think it looks great so far and the whole 'coming outa the screen' thing will only get better with practise, not that it even needs that much more improvement imho. Just remember; we are all our own worst critics! ;P
*cough* Well... with the help of a great website called posemaniacs it wasn't THAT hard "xD (at first I tried to use my own hands as a reference but it's kind of difficult XD and my hand doesn't really look like Anders' would
Everyone I know says that my hands resemble strange spiders XDD)
I also forget things very fast, so it would have been a disaster "XD No matter how hard I try to memorize (or remember) a picure in my head, as soon as I try to draw it... Meh. And I hate to say "Whatever, it's got to be right if I do it like that, even if it doesn't look exactly that way.
... I'm not sure whether this has a lot to do with the "coming out of the screen" thing or not but I know that I didn't have to run to the mirror in my room to pose like that as often as I would have had to.
Yep... a lot of practice "xD
That's right "xD But whenever I tell myself that a picture looks good, I remember that I used to think that when I was 12. Or 13. Or... I don't know xD And back then my pictures were horrible X__x
Hm ^^ If you hadn't owned up I'd have never known! ;D
Ooh, sounds like a good website, I may go have a peek myself (even though I gave up drawing a while ago...). OH! I know how it feels to have odd hands, mine are
tiny, people say it's like my body grew while my hands stayed the same size >.< so no referencing for me either

I know the feeling, I usually end up remembering the completely useless things. My brain is full of meaningless trivia, it leaves no room for writing (or whatever) from memory.
There's something about the image of running back and forth from the mirror that I can't stop laughing at, curse my manic mood!
Huh, I've never thought of it like that...but I suppose you just have to trust that you're better than you were. Maybe try and look at things objectively? I don't know, I'm a bit of a hypocrite for saying all this!

@Kimihiko: your picture is very adorable! nyawww! :3
