Exactly. If there's no remnant of Ander's personality, then bringing him back is essentially pointless.

People can change dramatically. I have seen it happen. Anders spending time with poor healing them and the poor apparently loving him and not treating him like a monster could make him better realize the sick madnes of chantry - and also make him more determined to destroy the chantry. It is about justice and freedom. It is not some kind of game.

First let me say if I repeat any of what's been said so far I'm sorry.

I'm hoping they didn't change Anders personality, he was a good cut up, though I know I will miss his debates about drinking and fashion with Oghren immensely. In my play throughs of Awakenings he ended up going to the Circle then going back to the Wardens for the rest of his days. I will be most curious to see their take on this. I know a lot of us have already questioned the continuity going from DA:O to DA2. Hopefully they do him.....Justice. No pun intended...sort of.

Speaking of Justice, given Anders proclivity for self preservation it seems odd he would let himself serve as his vessel. D'OH! and there it is. What happens to all wardens in the end? They seek out the deep roads and die fighting dark spawn or they become ghouls. Rather than end up a servant of the dark spawn or die far too young  Anders offers Justice his body to serve as his next vessel. Of course that is my take on it, my own wishful thinking.

We don't know if he's really an abomination. I don't think because in his official page it's said that Anders now tries to fight (physically and mentally) Vengeance.

I don't think he will be an abomination because Justice wasn't a demon when he entered Anders body, which is why I think Anders maintains control.

And I also hope that Anders is a LI. Actually I'm sure he is, because in Awakening Justice was envious of Kristoff's feelings for his wife and I smell awesome material for the romance with possessed Anders. Of course, if Anders is not LI I won't be upset either, because it never stopped me before XD I'll just make another comic

And Anders' new hairstyle is great, but where's his earring? *sigh* Probably was stolen by Sigrun.

In Awakening he said he will keep him for a while until he finds a better place. I guess he left him in Vigil's Keep. Because I think Pounce grew up and become too heavy to keep him in the pocket

I'm thinking the only reason he had an earring in the first place was because they didn't want to change the model. He used Duncan's hair in Awakening and it came with the earring pre-attached, didn't it?

That is an interesting thought.... There is always the possibility they brought him back.

For the love of the Maker I sure hope not...

It'd be crowdedly convenient for it to be Jowan. And besides I couldn't stand his voice before, and I doubt I'd like it better Tranquil.

maybe, it could be one of the mages in ferelden's circle of magi since anders lived there at one point.
