If you see the episode, you won't feel so sorry for him.  If I were a vigilante serial killer, I might have made that mistake too.

I would love to see a cutscene snippet where we see more of the companions talk -- we've heard Isabela and Varric for sure, but I'm not certain about Aveline, and I know we haven't heard Fenris, Anders, or Merrill, except for maybe battle shouts. 

Or character trailers.  Boy, would I love some character trailers!

You can hear Aveline speak (albeit very briefly) in the second 'making of' video, at 03:26.

(Looks like my Hawke will be trying very hard to resolve that whole blind spot issue for them...)

I've not run thorough Awakening in a long while, but I assume this Anders/Justice set-up is feasible no matter what you decide to do with the pair throughout Awakening, right? Even if you don't recruit either, or just recruit one, or... well, you know what I mean.

(Or... wait, do you have to let Justice team up with you? I forget)

Looks interesting, anyway: and I like how he looks updated, but recognisably Anders. I have to admit, though, when I first saw the glowly blue eyes I didn't consider possession. My first thought was "yay, they're giving Grey Wardens the glowy blue cinematic eyes".

 Simply put, they're not going to try and account for every single possible outcome of Awakening. I believe one review mentioned that his lines do vary according to what actions your Warden took, but I really doubt they recorded a dozen different lines to explain how he got there.If you played like the majority of people and kept both characters around until the final battle, you're probably clear. If you want to think of scenarios where they never met then feel free, but I wouldn't depend on DA2 catering to that particular outcome. The important thing is that the story needs to progress, and the writer's job is to make that happen; if it means stepping on a few players' metaphorical toes, then so be it.

Bwahah... nice.  And a very pretty harem it is indeed.  Conveniently, it's also a decently balanced party....

(I'm also notorious for Girl's Night Out configurations.  There's something kind of satisfying about getting all the women in my party together, sprucing up our armor & fixing our hair, as it were, and then tromping out into the wilderness to blow some profanity-of-your-choice up.  It's going to be hard to ever leave Anders behind, though.
