 making vengeance return to being justice would be quite a quest.
as a spirit now he would realize the beauty but also the dangerous temptations of the mortal world. maybe even letting justice return to the fade.

It´s spirit of Justice, not spirit of Law. I don´t think it has anything to do with following the rules, but Anders being so angry at the way Chantry treates mages that his most powerful feeling is rage. It´s funny (well, it isn´t) but in some way that acted as the DS of the Force when Justice went into him

Justice was one of my least favourite companions in Awakening, simply because he seemed a bit one-note. This evolution has made him much more interesting, and caused me to rethink some of his dialogue.



Anders... well. I adore him, always have. I hope he still keeps some of his charm and humour, especially if he's grown as a person.

Can you actually 'redeem' a guy possesed by a spirit? Like, turning from Vengeance back to Justice or something?

T'would be a total downer having a fixed tragic end for Anders.

After reading that, I'm reminded of Ling & Greed from Full Metal Alchemist. It would be interesting to see how Anders will be in DAII. But I am ecstatic that he got an official confirmation so quick.

An interesting turn. We did see it in Justice already in Awakening, he was starting to desire things and envy mortals. Wonder if that happens to any spirit that comes into close contact with the mortal world. And it makes me wonder again about Wynne's fade fairy,  that the forum speculation about her actually hosting a Pride demon could have some basis.

Hopefully you could remove the vengenance spirit or revert it back to justice.

I assume that you would have to have an overwhelming desire or emotion to surpress Anders own wants for revenge, in order to change the character of the spirit. Or maybe Anders has to actually learn to relinquish any strong feelings ala Wynne.

i wonder if i can change the chantry from within withouth going against it?

Maybe that's why Hawke is in sooo much trouble with Cassandra and the Chantry. She freakin' blew them up. With Anders.

Bravo, Bioware! Great twist! We essentially get two Awakenings characters in one! I just hope that despite Anders' "changes", he still has maintained his charm and humor to some degree. At least while he's not under poor "demon" Justice's control. If that's the case, I SO hope Anders is romanceable!
