And thank the Maker for that. Seriously, it's enough difficulty making sure real life babies don't occur. I'd really rather not have to worry about the contraceptive needs of my video game characters, too.madsabroo wrote...

Y'know, it just dawned on me this morning that Anders is still a Grey Warden. I was and still am ashamed of how long it took me to realize this, even as I was playing Awakening. So if there were to be Hawke babies, Ander babies would be out of the question. Sorry for pointing out the obvious.
For my party configuration: it was going to be Fenris, Basti, and Varric. Now that Anders is here, someone is going to get the pointed metal boot of Lady Hawke from the group.....most likely Basti.
It's already been confirmed by devs that there won't be baby-making (of the literal sort) in DA2.
Also, way back in the day devs commented that Grey Wardens could theoretically conceive, it would just involve a lot of dark magic. /The More You Know Rainbow
I really don't get why people would even want to have a kid in the game. I mean, it's not the Sims! A massive componant of the game is that you're constantly fighting. What kind of ****ty negligent parent would Hawke be? And that's providing she doesn't miscarry from, you know, always fighting.

Justice: Are you sure you are alright with bonding my spirit to your body?
Anders: yeah sure no probs k?
Justice: Alright. We require the sacrifice of a loved one of yours.
Anders: Wait... whut?
Justice: An unfortunate evil, but necessary.
Anders: I don't... have... loved... ones... really.
Ser Pounce-A-lot: Mrowr.
Anders: O_____O;;;;
Justice: .....

Justice: Its a freaking CAT!
Anders: He's my bestest best friend in the world you can't make me D:

I wonder if the flirting options are available even at really inappropriate moments. Could anyone else see their Lady Hawke doing this?
Anders: ::battle stance:: I have made this place a sanctum of healing and salvation. Why do you threaten it?
Carver: Calm down, we're not here to attack you. My sister will explain everything. ::long pause:: Uh, Sister...
Hawke: ::stares at Anders:: Huh? Oh, right. ::pause:: So, are you, uh, seeing anyone?
Carver: ::facepalm::
I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I think my Warrior!Hawke is going to take up an interest in healing refugees, despite have no skills. Maybe she can offer to move boxes or, you know, hold his staff for him.
What I read was "Maybe she can offer to move boxers..."
The rest doesn't bear repeating.
I am a naughty person.

Ah, but Anders doesn't wear boxers. You don't know the story behind the robes?berelinde wrote...

Ah, but he does! Before he undergoes the joining, he says (paraphrased) "If I wake up on a ship bound for Rivian in my smallclothes with a tattoo on my forehead, I'm blaming you."Aris Ravenstar wrote...

Ok, what we think of as boxer shorts did not appear until the middle of the 19th century (I study historica costume as a hobby). Before that, men wore shirts that reached the middle of their thighs which they tucked around their naughty bits to keep their breeches clean. See this drawing of a medieval hanging victim to see the shirt tucked into the tops of the hose. I don't want to think about how nasty the shirt got after a few days. Anyway, that isn't the point. In DA:O, men wore diaper-like loincloths. So yeah, I guess they didn't wear boxers. But it's the thought that counts.

Hmm. I never played Awakening, so if he leaves Ser Pounce with the Warden, I wonder what my game would say. I'm quite curious as to what will be said of his Grey Warden status as well.
I'm in the same boat.

I think my favorite thing about that comic is Carver. Poor Carver looks like he's got a stick up his bum.

@Koffeegirl Mmmm. I don't think he'd do that, simply for fear of retribution. I know my Alim would be all "He left me his sodding CAT? Now I have to change litter trays and feed him and he bloody well took that map as well. I'm going to kill him."
Ha ha. Hmm, thats a good point. Then I hope Ser Pounce a Lot is in a happy place....maybe someone gave him to Leliana.....she would probably take good care of him.
