I know! It's such a hassle to upload it if you don't do it as you go. I spent a good three solid days uploading all my fics recently. It was hellish.

 *snip pic*

from the aforementioned Galagraphia.

I adore her work. She did a pic of my Neria and Anders from Of Wardens and Mages and I DIED (because I didn't ask her to)

*snip awesome-tastic pic-y*

*nosebleed*

I think I just died a little, too. In a good way.

Oh also, not to anyone in particular, but I added the new Anders banner thing to my signiture. I don't know who made it, but I saw it in multiple people's signitures, so thought it'd be alright, but if it's not, whoever made it has but to ask and I'll remove it. ^_^

It will be interesting to see Anders' moral decisions.

How much Vengeance will he actually have in him?

I get the impression that the Vengeance to Anders ratio will increase as the game goes on.

It may depend on who's side you choose in any Chantry/Mage conflict too.  If the demon feeds off his anger about the treatment of mages.  Perhaps you can overthrow the Chantry there - a long held goal of mine I must admit.

The more I hear about the plot the more I think the main quest will be about the fate of the mages. Maker, I hope we can at least change the way the circle is run. It's so not tenable at the moment IMO.

Chantry, Mages, Elves, Qunari. Those seem to be the big players.

I'm definitely getting a "Champion of the Circle" v "Champion of the Chantry" vibe as the overarching choice.

But we know about my powers of prophesy...not so good so far.

I'm hoping the choice is morally complex and ambiguous.

If my Hawke will have to choose between the Mages and Chantry... you'll never guess what she will choose considering that she's an apostate with a crush on Anders&Justice. XD

Hehe, Anders makes all the hard choices so much easier! :)

The official DA:O:A thread just hit 300 pages. We're doing a prompt fest there. Please don't post unless you want to write or draw a prompt of your own, but also, HAVE A LOOK!

The announcement of Anders in DA2 has suddenly made me feel rather excited about it for the first time since I bought Awakenings.

Thank you, Bioware. Thank you.

You know, I always loved Justice, but thought he was too severe, and loved Anders, but thought he was too fluffy. Together they make the perfect guy. ;)

As to Ser Pounce-a-Lot... I like to imagine that it was the horrible gory death of poor little Ser Pounce-a-Lot at the hands of the templars that made Anders turn to Justice for help, and part of why they want vengeance so much.

I hope there is some vestige of Ander's humor left. From what I understand, it was an important part of his character.

Oh no, I hope he lives with my warden or mama!Hawke will allow him to stay at their place while kids are having epic adventures.
f!Hawke: Hi mum!
Carver: Hi, mum!
mama!Hawke: Hello, children.
f!Hawke: Mama, it's Anders.
Anders: Pleased to meet you, my lady.
mama!Hawke: (charmed and completely speechless)
f!Hawke: And this is Ser Pounce-a-lot, may he stay with you for a while?
Carver: Pleeeeeease?
f!Hawke: Anders lives alone and he must go with us on our epic quest for glory and fortune. Poor kitty will be so alone! :crying:
Ser Pounce-a-lot: Meow! :crying:
Anders: :crying:
Carver: :crying:
Varric: *shows his chest hair*
Justice: *mental facepalm* <_<
mama!Hawke: Aw, of course he can stay with us. Poor kitten *leaves with ser Pounce-a-lot*
Varric: See, this always works!

In my DAO game I choose to free the Circle from the Chantry.  Since they said decisions we made in DAO are going to transfer to DA2... I'm curious what is going to happen with that one.  Would sure makes Anders' life easier!

Seem like it didn't make a big difference in Awakening, and that's just for Ferelden as well... Chantry influence in Kirkwall is HUGEish so I'm betting that he'll be angry no matter what.

I don't think the decision did anything at all in Awakening.  I thought that was just fail on Bioware's part, but good point.  We're in Free Marches now, not Fereldan.

Awakening only happened 6 months after Origins ended, so I'm not surprised there was no obvious change. Change for the Circle of Magi is going to take time and politics... and a possible uprising in Kirkwall, with or without the Warden's assistant.

The Chantry of Andraste doesn't have to submit to the crown of Ferelden or the Grey Warden's after all. The most Anora can do is 'advise' them, and if you get an ending where Dagna establishes a Circle in Orzammar, it would take a while for mages to find the means to get there. The Templars don't exactly let them out for walks.
