You do remember what Rylock said in Awakening (the crazy templar lady who's been chasing Anders)? She said Chantry doesn't care what the King ordered. So I think even in Ferelden mages are not free.
So my boon was pointless, sigh. But no, I didn't really pay much attention to Rylock. I was too mad she wanted to take away that awesome new mage I found.

Crazy Templars like her make me wanna froth. If they're making Templars/Chantry the way I think they are in DA2, they're gonna get ripped apart.

I think I've read somewhere that even though Chantry ignored it, it will have some sort of effect on the world. Maybe rebel mages will use it somehow. Like: "Chantry ignored the Hero who had stopped the Blight and saved the world. Ergo they don't care about the lives of simple folk, all they want is power, time to overthrow those bastards! Join the rebellion, we have cookies!"Janele wrote...

Hm, mages rebellion is such an exciting thing. I hope we'll see it.

Ahaha! While my Mage Hawke appeals for moderation and compromise on all sides, my Rogue's gonna be marching at the forefront, gutting any templar that gets in her way. Sorry, Aveline!
Ahaha, my Mage Hawke is gonna be zapping templars the best she can... I really hope you can talk Aveline out of supporting the Chantry, I know her dead husband was a Templar and all but... If she gets in the way, I might have to zap her, too!
But you know Bioware is going to throw sympathetic Templar characters in front of us to make our decisions that much harder to make...

Hopefully there's some way to turn Justice back to the light.
HAHAHAHAHA.
Justice is doing the right thing when he destroys templars like they would be darkspawn.
Man, I laugh so very hard for each templar slaughtered and chantry burned.

Ah, I want to make Carver a templar. For lulz. I imagine my mage f!Hawke won't be able to resist Anders' charm and Carver will be overprotective: "Leave my sister alone or I'll holysmite you!"

oh, poor justice. i'm glad he's back. i just wish he was still a spirit of justice. anders and justice were the two best characters from awakening. maybe there will be some sort of happy ending and justice is returned. should be very interesting to say the least.
Just because you think slaying mages is the right thing doesn't change the fact that Justice has judged it is wrong thing and evil.

Not hard. Templars and chantry have a mission to slay mages. Anders will be there to stop that mission with Justice.

From Aveline page I understand that she's more concerned about saving lives than politics. I hope to have her at my side as a friend.

Lol, I wonder if making Carver a templar would get them to stop chasing mageHawke too?

I really want to see protective Carver. I hope he has the option of having a good relationship with Hawke.Galagraphia wrote...

Carver: You think I don't see you leering at my sister, Anders?
Anders: I wasn't leering, I was... Checking.
Carver: Checking for what, loose threads on her robes?
Anders: Of course! Picture this; we're running from darkspawn in an overgrown forest. Next thing you know, some underbrush snags on a hole in the lady's garments and hinders her escape. You should be glad I'm keeping my eyes on your sister, I could be saving her life.
Carver: [lifts his sword] If you value your own, you'll keep your eyes on something other than her backside from now on.
Anders: [glances at the sword] Point taken.

Templar is just a spec. Those chantrists who go militant in trying to slay mages favor it for obvious reasons. So, if you would spec Carver as templar it doesn't mean he would become chantrist.

Alas, I'm not sure how convincing an argument he could make.
"Is she a mage?"
"No, she's just like that."
"She... she just set that man on fire! And that other one's head just exploded!"
"Like I said, she's just like that."
"But--"
"Sisters, eh?"

Hah, it's still an argument I'd try to use though!
Templar: Stop! You just set the Grand Cleric on fire! Prepare for a sword of mercy!
mageHawke: You can't, this templar here said it was okay! *points at Carver*
Carver: *looks uncomfortable*

It would be nice if he has some reaction to that, or to blood magic.

Hehe.
Anders meets Hawkes.
Justice says his creepy words.
Anders calms him down and examines his guests, starting from lady Hawke:
"Legs - checked, hips - checked, breasts - my favourite size! - checked, face - hey, nice eyes..."
Justice: "And btw she's a blood mage and her brother is a templar."
Anders: "Oh, really?"
Justice: "Yes."
Anders: "Aren't they a cute family?"
Well, Anders was joking if he was made a blood mage in Awakening, I don't think he has big issues with that.

There's also the reverse situation when Aveline and Bethany find out that he's an abomination. I'd love to have a dialogue scene in the game where you have to persuade them from killing him for his own good and the party's safety.
That would be an interesting twist. I would definitely defend Anders, but I wonder what Anders/Justice would have to think about an opposition like that.

Actually this will be extremely interesting. Because no matter how much I adore Anders, he will have to convince my Hawke not to kill him first.Threeparts wrote...

(I must say Zevran totally failed here and was spared just because he was funny, and this was the weakest part in my roleplay for my wardens
