Not exactly a perfect comparison. In real life I have more than one or two options of my chosen gender, I'd hope.

I didn't learn anything new at all, really. It was still fun to watch the gameplay. Of course, I should have known better than to expect them to hand out spoilers - but I still has a little grumpy that they wouldn't even say Anders was a companion out loud WHEN IT'S ON THE MAIN DA2 PAGE!!!

What it is now? Less than month and you get the full game? Less than two weeks for a demo?

Stuff will begin to happen very quicly! The long wait is coming to an end. Why not just enjoy the thrill of last moments

Lol, don't feel guilty because of that. Just enjoy and say to the boss this only happens once every two years or so.

I'm hoping that the flow of information slows over the next few weeks, just a little, because I want there to be question so that we can revel in theories, speculation and mad over-analysis of every tidbit we get. It is almost as fun as playing the game!

Interesting. Will be very interesting to watch the story unfold. I can't wait soon!


Edit: Just put some tincans storming there shortly after the video clip and make the player to do some choises. Would enjoy lolling in forums when chantry apologists explain why they saved Anders.

::grumbles:: Well I'm glad someone is enjoying it.  This is killing me, almost literally.  For one thing, I don't have any other games to play right now.  (I got Borderlands for Christmas but I'm pretty disappointed by it.)  And my excitement/agitation is keeping me from concentrating on things I *NEED* to be concentrating on, like studying for exams and things.

You know, I would really like to know if Anders has a surname. And what part of Ferelden is he from, anyway? The wiki states he was brought to the tower "as an adolescent" which to me implies early teens, so I can't help but be curious as to what he was doing before that.



Possibly this stuff has been discussed in the DA:O forum, but what do you guys think?

I know Dragon Age 2 development started a long time ago.  Do you guys think Anders was always intended for DA2, or that it was fan popularity from Awakening that got him put in later in development?
