Hey man, I find some other people's sigs disturbing but I don't say anything. All in good fun and it's an inside joke amongst a pretty large group.

So how do you guys think Anders will react to the other party members?  Do you think any of them will particularly be his friends or rivals?

I think Fenris and Anders will have some tension (since if I'm correct, Fenris will probably not like mages too much, right?).  Anders will probably hit on Bethany a bit and irritate her half to death.  He'll probably do that to Merrill too, if Velanna in Awakening is any indication.  I can picture him getting along well with Varric, but Aveline probably won't have much patience with him.

@leggywillow: I'm counting on Fenris/Anders and Carver/Anders tension. I think he might get along with Merrill later on when he's so anti-Chantry he can't even see the gray areas of the Chantry/Mage relationship anymore.. How she'll react to him on the other hand, I can't say. Honestly I don't know a lot about her (does anyone?). I think if they keep the bit where he sailed with Isabela for a while, those two might have a fun rapport. I'm wondering if he's anti-dwarf or if he just didn't like Oghren, and how that will affect his relationship with Varric. .. I could see him totally hitting on Bethany and Aveline.

Back on topic. What I really want to know is where the heck is Sir Pounce A Lot? You really can't have Anders without his kitten.

We don't know. After much speculation, I subscribe to the theory someone posted earlier that he left Ser Pounce with Nathaniel. I prefer it to the 'he ran away' or 'he died' theories.

Nah, it's from my group. It's a long story but, we are just showing support for Anders as an LI despite some people's....issues with the idea.

I am reminded as to why I quit posting in the forums...wow. People taking the sig a bit to seriously when it's just meant as a freaking way of supporting him as an LI. But I will remove it to avoid more comments.  Geez.

Or that he took a leaf out of Mr. Wiggum's book, was possessed by a rage demon, and killed 3 templars.  Although Anders would have been proud.

I'm thinking that the kitty will still be around, and we'll see him if we visit Anders at his home base, but he's not going to be a huge part of the story. It'd be sweet to go visit Anders and see Pounce sleeping in a windowsill or the kitchen sink while you chat to his owner. Maybe with a short Pet the cat interaction.

You know, given some of the things I've seen, cmess's sig is nothing.  It attacks no one and nothing, and while you may not agree with it, eh, too bad.

I also happen to be looking forward to hot, angry demon sex.  Preferrably against a wall.

@leggywillow Yeah I totally see Anders and Fenris not getting along. I'm actually predicting Fenris to be more difficult to handle but for all I know Anders might be also difficult to deal with as we don't know what changes he has gone through.



I think Bethany won't be too bad to get along with but I see poor Carver not liking Anders. I'm really curious to see how the siblings interact with him~

The Carver/Bethany situation makes my heart hurt a little bit actually. They're twins . Laidlaw said in the livechat that Carver was going to be more like a rival to you than Bethany - which is interesting. I wonder if it's because of the whole mage/chantry thing? Also, Fenris is going to be fascinating - is he against mages because of his past? Or does he think mages, like slaves, should be freed? Either way I can see him hating Bethany AND Anders.
