You know, given some of the things I've seen, cmess's sig is nothing.  It attacks no one and nothing, and while you may not agree with it, eh, too bad.

I'm thinking that the kitty will still be around, and we'll see him if we visit Anders at his home base, but he's not going to be a huge part of the story. It'd be sweet to go visit Anders and see Pounce sleeping in a windowsill or the kitchen sink while you chat to his owner. Maybe with a short Pet the cat interaction.

I really hope he is around. I'm just not sure how an adorable kitty it'd mesh with Anders' 'gritty reboot'.

RE: Fenris, I get the feeling he'd have ample reason to dislike or at least distrust mages. In Tevinter the mages give little reason for him to empathize with them, and after what happened to him personally I can see him having a major chip on his shoulder. For the same reason I don't think Anders would relate with the templars even though they're bound to the Chantry via lyrium addiction. It's hard to empathize with your oppressors. Unless of course you have Stockholm Syndrome.

Yep. Carver will be difficult. I'm so tempted to play Mage first just so I can have Carver and really try to figure if there's a way to not be rivals or prevent a disaster from happening. But I always play warrior/ rogue first, so baby brother will have to wait for the 2nd play.

As for Fenris, I find him to be a pretty fasinating character. He most definetaly has a beef with mages so I don't see him getting along with Anders but hey isn't Anders hating on the chantry now? They "might" get along~

On topic:

Yes! Party banter~ It should be fun, plus who knows, this is a 10 yr story. Our party members will be bound to get along with each other or not. I wonder if there would be instances where you'll have to intervene if two members are just not getting along~

I wonder if Bethany will question him on what the Circle is like. As she's an apostate already I can see him just confirming her opinion of them, so that's one thing they have in common, but I wonder if her views would coincide with his on what should be done about it.



If they had added companion romances to DA2, I would totally support an Anders/Bethany romance, if only so I could play the overprotective brother or sister role.



I also wonder if Fenris and Aveline will get along, as they both seem to be rather tougher, more physical members of the party. Having them spar would be fun!

I think Fenris would have issues with Anders not because he's a mage but because he wants to free the mages. Given the things he went through with the Tevinter magister I think he would probably like mages to be guarded by the Chantry.

Should've known voicing my complaint about a signature would've angered people, opposing opinions tend to do that. I just don't get the joke, though I guess that's what happens when you demonstrate an inside joke on a forum that can be taken multiple ways. It's a public setting, one where we can show opinion.

I like Anders myself, not enough to have a signature of him mind you but enough that I can support him and... well, there's much more tasteful sigs than one that implies that you support he loses his free will and becomes an abomination and then you sleep with him. To me, that isn't much different than a Fenris signature that writes "I support torturing Fenris :D".

I've seen the comments on your walls, the swearing was rather unnecessary.

I'm curious after reading that: wasn't it said at some point that companions may start romances with each other? I could be wrong and twisting some facts, but I remember something like that... somewhere.

Look, if you don't get it you haven't obviously seen most of the "complaints" about him being an LI. I don't even go into the DA2 threads and I've heard them so, not sure how to miss it. People think that him being possessed would make a creepy romance. So...yeah get it? I took it off.

I'm hoping that they took Anders' popularity after Awakening into account. They may not care, but they would have to expect a backlash if they put him into another game where he can't be romanced.
