Thought I would write a tragedy for the Anders fangirls.  I already put one up for the Fengirls

In the midst of battle, darkspawn were encroaching on Rose Hawke.  The agile rogue was terribly outnumbered, but didn't give up.  She kicked a Genlock back, sweeping her dual wielded swords across another's neck.  Anders felled another Hurock with an arcane bolt while Fenris and Isabela battled an Emissary.  
Rose yelped, a Hurlock slicing into her side, ripping her armor and maiming her flesh.  Searing pain shot out into the wound, giving the upper hand to the enemy.  Anders scorched an approaching Genlock with a fireball.  His eyes flashed blue as he saw his Hawke being ripped apart.  The powerful mage ran to her side, casting the darkspawn back with a wicked wall of flame.  
Then the battle ceased, the last shriek falling victim to Isabela's throwing knife.  Rose coughed, fainting due to blood loss.  Anders winced, catching her and gently setting her down onto the bloody floor.  The woman would die without healing magic.  A little voice in Anders' mind whispered morbidly, Just end her misery. Kill her.  Anders paid no attention to it, but he felt as if he were unable to cast any healing spells.  
"Heal her!" Varric snapped.  Rose was like a little sister to the Dwarf.  
She will just get in the way of your mission.  Our mission.  To destroy the Chantry.  End this now!  Vengeance purred.
"No!" He cried inwardly, battling with himself on whether to save his lovely Rose or let her perish.  Varric bluntly gave the mage a small shove, "Bloody flame, man, heal her!" He pleaded gruffly, anger hinged on his tone.
What did I say?  End her! 
"Can't..." Anders muttered, eyes flickering with a deadly blue flame.  He pointed his staff at the dying Rose.
You had your fun, now end this.  What did she ever do to help you?  Nothing.  She didn't help you end the Chantry. 
Anders whimpered weakly, gripping the enchanted staff tightly.  His other hand balled up into a fist.  He looked about ready to faint himself, but he just stood there.
"Maker's breath, just heal her already." Isabela hissed.
"Please, Vengeance...Give her another chance." He cried, internally at war with the demon inside of him.  
Tendrils of magic began to flow down his arm and down the staff like twin pythons.  The magic glowed, beaming down into Rose.
