Will we be starting the game with specializations or gaining them before we go to Kirkwall? My memory is fuzzy.

If we did, and if your warrior chose that specialization, it would kind of make sense for Anders to have issues with him, but if you chose the specialization after Anders was already in the party, would he have any right to complain?

I kinda hope since we payed our dues and we have berzeker and templar  rev unlocked we start with them unlocked

Hey, over at the Fenris thread they seem to have some confirmed photos of Fenris being a LI... but no confirmation between Anders or Varric yet.

Seriously, how can Anders be no LI, if even Fenris is one?  ... In case this is true.
(To be honest, I couldn't imagine Fenris being a LI... Don't ask me why. I bet I am the only one XD)

already didn't like the fact that he left the Grey Wardens (at first I
also wondered why Justice, of all people, was somehow mutated into this
Vengeance-spirit... thing. I like the idea by this time xD), but... never
mind, the only thing I can do is wait. And hope.

I think the main draw for Anders is that he's snarky, handsome, intelligent,  has had a penchant for flirting in the past, and has that mysterious, mage-y draw.  Some guys/girls might be preferring that in a bisexual LI, instead of the obligatory elf-must-be-bi stereotype, or the slim chance that Varric might be bisexual. 

I hope you're all doing the Time Warp right now.

I am withholding judgement on characters I have only seen snippets of, like Fenris and Varric (even though Fenris is pretty dreamy, IMO), so for me, it would be just plain cruel to not make Anders a love interest this time around.  I understand why others are getting all excited, but I just can't, until I know the characters ingame.  Who knows, though, I may be very happy a month from now when I've played the game and have gotten some personal experience with the new characters, even if Anders isn't romanceable.

As for his status as an m/m option, it's true that he stated a preference for women in Awakening, but if the writers convincingly show that he cares for a male Hawke, isn't that all the better?  It wouldn't change my game, and if more people get to enjoy the character, good for them.

And why he left the Grey Wardens...I am guessing he had a good reason.  He didn't run off and selfishly hide, he went to Kirkwall and established a hospital for refugees...that doesn't seem like something a person who is ashamed of his actions would do.  It would be very easy for Grey Wardens to find him, if they were looking, and he was making his services as a healer available to all.

Unless the game tells me otherwise, I will choose to believe that Anders left the Grey Wardens because he was heartbroken over the fact that he and my Amell could not be together.

You know I read somewhere that times between Blights the Wardens are more or less treated as paramilitary. Maybe Anders found a cause to fight in Kirkwall because of the heavy Templar influence?

Hehe, I understand what you mean.  We'll have to see how the game deals with this. 

Perhaps he left the Wardens because of Justice?  The Grey Wardens accept all types, but when he was inhabited by a spirit, he technically became an abomination.  That might cause even the Wardens to raise an eyebrow.
