BRING OUT THE PITCHFORKS!!!!!

Just kidding - I think some of us consider these things in-jokes (like Boo appearing in ME2). That being said, I'll admit to a weakness for the cute, fuzzy animal companions. It's like having all the cuteness of a pet without the inconvenience of changing wood chips and/or kitty litter.

I think the best part for me about Ser Pounce-a-lot was the fact that he was an item in the inventory. I lol'd so much when that happened. Maybe one of the things that has changed Anders is that Pounce is not with him anymore. I'd say that would change him~



And I never found anything about cheese with Alistair. Where did that come from?

I had to laugh when Alistair said something like "Besides my unholy love of fine cheeses and a minor obsession with my hair?  No, that's it.  Just the prince thing."  He also talked about cheese when he wanted to change the topic... But I don't remember what it was about? "xD

All this 'But Anders can't be bi!' conversation bugs me a bit. So what if he is? so what if he isn't?



It wouldn't be the first time the Devs have altered the story slightly. Hell, it wouldn't even be an alteration. Just because the Male warden can't flirt with him doesn't mean he isn't bi. It just means the Male Warden didn't flirt with him.



Qunari have horns. Anders is allowed to survive despite how ANYONE played Awakening. Elves are actually taller and have accents.



Anders suddenly becoming Bi is HARDLY a bigger leap than the above stuff that has been confirmed in the game.

Oh ok~ I remember his obsession for his hair more than the cheese but I remember that line now~  I just know like every Alistair fan fic is about cheese and Anders about Pounce but I give that more credit since Anders did adore cats~

@Gremnock  Thanks I didn't remember that and didn't make that much of a big deal out of the cheese and then I read fan fics lol but I think Ser Pounce was sort of a big deal to Anders~

Panamakira, when you enter Redcliffe for the first time and he confesses he is the king's son there is a dialogue option you can choose that says something along the lines of "Are you sure there isn't anything else you are hiding" He replies and says "Other than my minor obsession with my hair and my unholy love of fine cheeses..no just the prince thing." It's something like that if that is what you were talking about.

Well, if you put Pounce on Anders's hotbar, you could click on him and get those Anders/Pounce conversations (if you consider "Meow!" conversing) - I did love that. As for the cheese stuff, the poster above mentioned one quote, but the other involves a conversation with Alistair about his parents. He starts telling this wild story about the flying dogs of the Anderfels & how they hate cheese, etc. etc.

There's also the part when you approach him about the Dark Ritual and he says something like "This is what I get for becoming king. Well, what is it? Have the cheese stores run out?" or something along those lines.



As for Anders, it doesn't have to be Ser Pouce-A-Lot (since he was still in your warden's inventory after Awakening) but he should at least have A cat.

Why don't I remember the cheese lines with Alistair!? I do remember everything else~!! Weird, now I'm gonna go play!

I do remember Anders' lines with Ser Pounce since they were often. More often I'd say that the cheese thing with Alistair~

I always laughed at Anders's dialogue about Pounce, especially if Pounce piped up and meowed. There was some bug with the subtitles that made your other companions say (MEOW!) so I have a couple of screenshots of Nathaniel meowing.

Ah, THAT was it! XD I remember now... I think I'm going to play DA now...
(I also want to hear Zevran's "I... am not sure how to respond to that. Nobody has ever... I mean,
normally these things are decided by others. Er... I suppose I shall... stay? Is... is that... good?"  - I never liked Zevran that much, but...)


I REALLY hope that we will hear Anders say things like that T_T.

Not verbatim, but:

1) Discussion involving his father. "I was raised by dogs. Devout Andrastians to boot. Funny, they never mentioned cheese."

2) When you arrive at Redcliffe villiage the 1st time.
PC:"Are you hiding anything else?"
Alistair: "Aside from my love for fine cheeses and an unhealthy obsession for my hair, no. Just the Prince thing."

3) Convo in Recliffe castle re: the dark ritual. "So what's the news, then? Rats run-amok? Cheese shortage? I can take it."

ETA: bah. 'd. A lot.

I DID notice that, but I wasn't able to use Pounce in battle or interact with him, so I wasn't sure if it was a glitch.  Otherwise... of course Anders won't have Pounce!  The Warden STOLE him!    Maybe we'll have this interaction:

Nate:  So I finally tracked you down.  The Warden-Commander wants her map.
Anders: You tell that rotten harpy that she can have her map back when SHE GIVES ME BACK MY KITTY!

Now we know the real reason for the map theft.

Seriously. Ser-Pounce-a-lot was great. Mabari aren't that exciting... they're not even cute. And I know they're supposed to be war dogs, but why couldn't they be even a bit cuter?
