There's no way in HELL she'd have allowed any Templar other than Alistair (or maybe Cullen) to shadow a mage like that.

I doubt the Warden-Commander ordered that or knew anything about it.  I know mine would start a slow-clap after seeing Anders tear into those fools.

My Wardens definitely leave the Keep and stepped down as well.  They certainly wouldn't have kept tabs on Anders like that... but I know my Queen Cousland will now be wondering if she should have, after hearing word about the slaughter.    She'll feel guilty about it, since Anders was one of her closest friends.  Like maybe if she had been there, she could have stopped it from happening (since obviously she wouldn't know the details of is deal with Justice).

Now we just have to hope for an ending that is at least vaguely happy!  I'd even be okay with a deal-with-the-devil kind of happiness ala the Dark Ritual.

Amaterasu Surana wouldn't have allowed it either and Haidee Mahariel would have gone crazy if she found out.  She and Anders are best mates, he's like the human brother she never knew she wanted.  They both must have stepped down at some point.  My female Cousland, Elliott is the only one I could see allowing it, but I think she'd be more upfront and honest about it.
But I loved the short fictions!  They were all amazing!

I think Ogrhen may have bitten the bullet in that story.

He can kill Velanna if he wants though, in fact, I encourage it.
