Possibly, yes. While Justice was in Kristoff, he seemed relatively mellow (of course, he did get fired up over injustices and/or got irritable at annoying questions). I think the major issue might be that Anders is alive, whereas Kristoff was dead. In a living host, perhaps the influence of the host's own emotions and beliefs can overwhelm the spirit. Maybe that's why Wynne's Spirit of Faith was mellow (you know how Wynne was - calm, mature, not prone to raging in general).

On the other hand, demons exist who have NOT been influenced by people; that clip earlier with the Awakening dialogue in the thread has that bit of dialogue where the whole "demons are spirits perverted by their own desires" thing comes up. Justice did seem to have his own wants, and maybe after learning to appreciate the mortal world, he did have some selfish reasons in wanting to stay - not just helping Anders crusade over the issue of oppressed mages. Grr, this question is now going to drive me bonkers until March 8th or so.

It may just be the reason Anders is back in DA2 at all. Justice and a mage added new possibilites to the Mages vs Templars war brewing~

So now we come to the real question, if it comes down to it, if common sense demands it, would you slay the abomination Anders has become?

De-lurking to answer this, because I find myself tormented over it. Honestly? No. No, I don't think I could kill him, if it came down to it. Not unless there was nothing left of Anders and I knew it, and even then I'd have to be bullied and forced into the confrontation.

Now would be a really nasty time for Bioware to stop offering the third options, I'm just saying.

Well, in ME 1, you were presented with a situation that had no third option....so I ask you this. ..you can either save Anders or another party memeber (Merril/Varric/Your sibling) who do you choose?

Perhaps the choice will be between saving Anders...and accomplishing his dream of free mages. Now there's a question, would you kill Anders if it meant his dream of mages using their maker given gifts without fear of the Chantry, would come true? Or would you save him even if it ruined his hopes for free mages?

Oh, go for the heart, why don't you?

I'd always save Anders... except for my sibling. Unless my sibling betrayed us in some way.

For the freedom of mages... gah, that's hard. Really hard. I'd... It depends on who's enabling the deal. The Chantry/Templars saying that, if I kill Anders, they'll give the mages freedom? Then no. But if it's something different... I might.

Well, at least he seems to understand that what he did wasn't justice.
I'm quite sure, given his LI status, that his quest will focus on the possibility of free him.

lol it's funny how in other threads people find Anders disturbing or awesome. I think at this point you either love him or hate him~
