Being a mage, I would have to put points into strength and constitution to wear armor. I don't think the nerd in me will allow that, lol.

Thats only if you want to wear armor for warriors. They've said there is armor made for mages in the game.jomonoe wrote...

Your going to wait that long to replay the game as a different class?Buffy-Summers wrote...

I always play a mage. We may be squishy, but there is something to be said for dealing 80+ points of damage per enemy per round later on in game play. And they have historically rocked in controlling the battlefield. My standard party is 2 mage, 1 rogue, 1 warrior, and I've seen nothing that convinces me to change that yet.
This. Being a mage will enable me to have a Hawke/Anders/Isabela/Fenris party. (And the dog.) Will return for rogue on second playthrough.

I am undecided between Mage and Warrior. I want to be a mage for story and overall "right" feel of being a mage. At the same time, I love being a warrior like Guts from Berserk and want Bethany over Carver.

Well if you plan on your Mage being a blood mage then the only extra stat you'll need to increase is Str. But then you'll still have to sacrifice some willpower to wear armor.
Ha I can totally imagine a melee blood mage build now. Points into Magic, for damage. Con for health, magic casting, and Armor. Str for armor, and knockback.
